She found Lucy in the dimly lit dining room.

"You looking for me?" Lucy's voice cut through the silence, her tone guarded yet tinged with a hint of resignation.

Bonnie's brow furrowed with suspicion. "Who are you?"

"Lucy," came the simple reply, devoid of elaboration.

Bonnie's frustration mounted. "What are you doing here?"

A bitter smile twisted Lucy's lips. "I should have known I'd run into a Bennett."

Bonnie's eyes narrowed. "How do you know me?"

"I have no interest in fighting you." Lucy changed the direction of the conversation.

The urgency in Bonnie's voice rose. "Then stop the spell you put on my friend."

Lucy's gaze hardened. "Give Katherine the moonstone and I will."

"Why would you help her? You know what she is!" Bonnie pressed, desperate.

Lucy's demeanor remained resolute. "Tell your friends to hand over the moonstone and all will be groovy."

"You're not leaving this room until you stop the spell!"

A sudden tension filled the air as Bonnie grabbed Lucy's wrist, their confrontation escalating as the room trembled and lights flickered ominously.

"Do you feel that? You can trust me. Give it to me, it's okay," Lucy urged, her voice felt unexpectedly reassuring, so Bonnie decided to listen to her magic.

Later, Lucy came to the room upstairs, moonstone in hand, the balance of power shifted once more.

Katherine smirked, grabbing the moonstone. Instantly, she began to suffocate. As she gasped for breath, Lucy looked at her, unremorseful.

"You should have told me a Bennett was involved, Katherine."

As she made her way out of the ball, she ran into Bonnie who was with another woman. A spectramorph, Lucy realised instantly.

Bonnie went up to Lucy, dragging Yvette with her. "Are you leaving?" She asked, a bit disappointed.

"There's nothing here for me." Lucy told Bonnie. "It is an honour to have met the both of you."

Yvette gave her a polite smile and watched as the Bennett relative left. "Don't dwell too much on it, Bon." She told her friend, wrapping her arm around her shoulders.

"Where's Amelie?" Bonnie asked Yvette. "I haven't seen her all night."

"She's driving back from the hospital," Yvette told her.

Bonnie looked at Yvette, brows arched and head turned.

Yvette shrugged her shoulders to show she didn't know why. "Let me call her," Yvette told the witch as they went outside.

A faint ringing sound was heard, but the two thought it to be a coincidence. Amelie was however not answering her calls.

The first and second time the ringing was heard could have been said to be a coincidence, but when Bonnie called her this time and the sound was heard once more, they knew something was wrong.

Yvette and Bonnie ran to the origin of the sound. It was in the car park.

Bonnie raced to the ringing sound and there Amelie's phone was, screen broken. Her car was also there, door open.

"Elena's phone is here too!" Bonnie yelled out.

Yvette's eyebrows came together in bewilderment. Something was not right. "I have a feeling something horrible has happened," Yvette told Bonnie.

"What!" Bonnie yelled. "Horrible like what?"

"A star didn't fall down so she's not dead, but what could have happened?" Yvette's voice was low as she was talking to herself. Yvette's eyes lit up in realisation. "They've been abducted!" That wasn't so horrible, but Yvette still felt the sinking feeling in her stomach, as though something horrible would still happen soon.

"Shit."

"Never fear, Bonnie dear," Yvette told her. "I can find out exactly where she is."

"Really?" Bonnie asked, confusion painting her face.

Yvette hummed in affirmation. "Call Caroline, ask if she wants to go on a road trip." Yvette smirked.

"What?" Bonnie asked, feeling even more confused. "Why a—"

"Less talking, more calling," Yvette singsonged.

Bonnie sighed, reaching for her phone. "Care? Why do you sound so panicked?"

She waited for Caroline's response.

"What do you mean Tyler triggered the curse!?" She exclaimed. "Shit!"

"I know, it's really bad! I just covered for him," Caroline told her on the phone.

Bonnie nodded, even though Caroline couldn't see her. "Ok um, I was about to ask you if you wanted to go on a road trip with Yvette and I to save Elena and Amelie cause they were just kidnapped but—"

"—What do you mean they were just kidnapped?!" Caroline exclaimed. "And of course I want to go!" Caroline sighed. "I don't know if I can though."

"Why?" Bonnie asked.

Caroline sighed. "Don't I need to help Tyler or something?"

Bonnie groaned. "I guess we'll go tomorrow morning... after first period?"

"Yeah, sounds good," Caroline replied. "Wait, we're skipping school?"

"It'll be a medical emergency!" Bonnie argued.

Caroline gasped. "When did you become so bad?" She teased.

Bonnie chuckled. "I didn't get bad, I just know how to get what I want now." She told the witch, remembering how she learnt about spectramorphs.

"I guess we're going on a road trip." Caroline chuckled between her words.

Yvette mouthed something to Bonnie and she nodded. "Oh and don't tell Damon or Stefan, Yvette wants this to be a girl thing."

"Let's hope we're back fast then," Caroline replied. "Bye, Bon."

When Caroline cut the phone, Bonnie turned Yvette. "We're going a road trip."

"A girls' road trip," Yvette corrected with a smirk.
