"You did what!?" Yvette asked her sister, livid.

"Bonnie is in Duke University at the moment researching on our kind, and I sent her there," Amelie said again.

"Why the fuck―"

Amelie rolled her eyes, interrupting her sister - how many times did she have to say this? "She's a Bennett witch!" Amelie yelled just as loud. "She can't intentionally harm us if she wanted to!"

"That doesn't matter, I don't want loyalty and trust because of magic, I want it because of actions!"

Amelie glared at her sister because they both knew she was right. "Then she'll prove herself."

"No matter-"

"Tell me you don't feel it," Amelie interrupted her sister. "Tell me your intuition says something's wrong with her."

Yvette was silent.

"Exactly."

Yvette shook her head. "It's too early. She's a young witch that wasn't raised in magic." She reminded her sister. "She should at least be proficient at it before learning its secrets!"

"Then we'll teach her to be proficient at it."

Yvette sighed, knowing she would end up agreeing. It was the right thing to do, and she rarely ever thought many things right or wrong. She decided, however, to have some fun with her sister for a few more minutes. "Amelie, no. I didn't come here to mentor a witch."

"You didn't want to come here at all," Amelie reminded her. Amelie looked at Yvette, her lips were drawn up in a straight line. Amelie groaned. "But you're better at it than I am!" Amelie complained.

Yvette smirked. "I know."

"I hate you," Amelie told her with a sigh.

Yvette tilted her head with a smile at her sister's words. "You wound me." She teased.

Amelie groaned. "Please?"

"Hmm, let me think about it." She pretended to think, "How about no?"

Amelie groaned and threw a plastic bottle at her.

Yvette caught the bottle. "Violence," She began, "is never the answer, dear sister. It was you who first said that quote to me, no?"

Amelie ground her teeth. "It's a stupid quote."

"I think it rather wise."

Amelie rolled her eyes. "You?"

"Why not?" Yvette nodded, tilting her head to the side.

"You're helping her!"

Yvette nodded, holding back a smile. "Ok."

"No, I mean it-" Amelie cut herself off. "Did you just say ok?"

Yvette hummed in affirmation.

"I hate you!" Amelie exclaimed after realising Yvette was using her for laughs.

Yvette chuckled at her sister. "No, you don't."

"I do," Amelie countered. "I really do!"

Yvette chuckled going to hug her little sister. "You could never hate me." She said as she messed up Amelie's hair.

Amelie rolled her eyes. "I could never hate you," Amelie reluctantly admitted, hugging her back. "Now leave me alone," she said as she pushed her sister off.

"Ouch," Yvette feigned hurt.

Amelie rolled her eyes at her antics.
