Talia was sound asleep, Nym was cuddling with her. Talia had a dream every night, whether it was good or bad would all depend on her emotions.

We enter Talia's dream, it was the end of an extermination, the girls were on a recovery mission, to help any injured demons.

Charlie and Vaggie were in the main hub of the city, so I went to the Carmine district.

"Hello? Any demons here?" I shouted

I've never been to the Carmine district since this was the main hub for angelic weapons, something that I feared.

???: Is someone there?!

I heard a voice, a young voice. I followed the source, and I saw the source.

It was a young demon, he looked injured but unharmed.

???: Are you gonna hurt me?

"No, I'm here to help. What's your name?"

"Adrien"

"Hi Adrien, My name is Talia. You look young, are your parents here?"

The young boy pointed in a direction, I saw a body stabbed with an angelic spear.

"Shit. Sorry, force of habit"

Adrien began to cry, I didn't know what to do, but then I had an idea.

"Hey, Adrien? How would you like to come with me? I can keep you safe"

"Do you promise?"

"I promise, come now, I have a few friends that will be thrilled to meet you"

Adrien walked ahead of me, but before I followed, I grabbed some holy daggers I found.

"It's better to be safe than sorry" I whispered to myself

I caught up to Adrien, he looked scared. I grabbed his hand to reassure him that I would neer leave him.

"Fuck. That was a lovely dream for once..."

"Shut up!"

I threw an icicle at the alarm, shutting it off.

I got up from bed and put on my casual attire, looking for Nym, only to find him huddled next to my bed.

"I'll keep my promise to you, don't worry"

I headed down to the main lobby where no one was seen except for Husk.

"Hey Husk"

I hear him let out a small growl.

"Listen here you bitch..."

He turns around to see me.

"Oh, sorry. I thought you were Alastor..."

"You're good Husker. Say, where's everyone?"

"Charlie dragged them to some place and I managed to hide myself from the group and snuck back here"

"Nice, can't blame ya. I don't believe in this redemption bullshit but I'm just here to protect him..."

I can't stop thinking if he's safe or not, I'm always worrying for Angel, I just want him to be safe.

"Say, Husk..."

He let out another growl.

"What do you want now kid?"

"I've got a meeting with someone and I need a babysitter, and seeing that you're the only one here..."

"Oh fuck no! You're not leaving me with a pet sitting!"

"Sorry Husker, I'll make it up to you with drinks later!"

Before he could say anything, I had evaporated into the drainage system to head on out.

"The fuck?!"

He lets out yet another growl, but heads upstairs to Talia's room. He'd never been in her room for obvious reasons, but did this one time.

When he opened her door, the inside of her room was revealed. A beautiful ocean aesthetic, but as Husk stepped foot into the room, he sank below.

"The fuck?!"

He quickly got out of the water, he looked below to see the floor wasn't normal, it was a deep and dark trench.

"Oh fuck. How does she expect me to..."

An illuminated path revealed a safe path for the others to enter her room. Husk followed the path to reach Talia's bed, where her pet was.

"Got you ya little fucker. Now, back downstairs where I can watch you with a drink in my hand"

Husk carried Nym but he was heavy for his size, Husk struggled to carry him down the stairs.

"You need a diet. Holy shit you're heavy"

Husk then places Nym on one of the bar stools and gets a drink from the counter.

"What're you looking at?"

"Are you a cat or a wolf?"

"The fuck?!"

Husk was shocked and slightly scared.

"You can talk?!"

"I can do more than that!"

Nym suddenly turned into a more proper form.

"The name's Adrien, nice to meet ya!"

"The fuck are you?"

"I'm a shapeshifter! I prefer to stay hidden but this is what I actually look like"

"When did you get here?"

"I've been here for about five years... my mother has kept me safe ever since that day"

"Mother?!"

"Yes, her name is Talia. But I don't like using her name. Sounds weird"

Adrien spends most of the morning talking to Husk about his life and how he ended up in the Hotel.

"You know, you're a good kid. I can see us gettin along just fine" stated Husk

"It's been fun! But I think the others may return soon and..."

Husk sees Adrien almost scared.

"Is somethin wrong kid?"

"I'm not supposed to reveal myself to the others yet... my mother is worried for my safety"

Husk thinks for a moment, then he suggests an idea to Adrien.

"How bout I help you out?"

"Really?"

"Yeah, why not. No one should be hiding"

"Okay, I appreciate this"

The others had returned from their lesson of the day, but Talia wasn't with them.

"Woah, who's the little twerp?" asked Angel

"Is he fresh meat?" asked Niffty

Charlie and Vaggie looked scared to answer, until Husk spoke up.

"Guys, this is Adrien" said Husk

"We know" said Charlie and Vaggie in unison

"You fuckers knew?!"

"We've known each other for a while. What's up kiddo" said Vaggie

"Hi aunt Vaggie" said Adrien

Talia then returned from her meeting, looking exhausted.

"Oh boy, I've had a very shitty..."

I see Adrien in the main lobby.

"Adrien?! Why are you...!"

"Mother, don't worry. It's fine" said Adrien

I didn't have the energy to argue, she just wanted to sleep.

"Charlie, Vaggie, you know what to do. I'm going to bed"

"You got it Talia" said Charlie

I head upstairs to my room, and pass out on the bed.

"Ugh, why does training have to be so difficult with her... why does she have to go extreme?"
