She Belongs to Connor

Chapter 21

Equin pulled away with a smile on her face as Connor moved the kisses from her lips down to her neck. "I think we should wait and see if you managed to put a pup inside of me. Don't want to risk losing it with you getting rough with me."

"Is that what you want," Connor asked while continuing to kiss Equin's neck.

"Only if you're willing to wait a bit," Equin replied.

Connor pulled away from Equin's neck letting out a bit of a laugh. "Oh my little mate. You should know that your needs are important to me. I don't want to run the risk of you losing our pup if you are pregnant. Though I feel that you are pregnant with my pup."

"How can you be so sure about that," Equin asked.

"It's a gut feeling that I have. I'm usually spot on about my gut feelings," Connor said.

Equin tried to hide the yawn that was wanting to come out and show how tired she truly was. Equin looked up at Connor noticing that he caught her hiding the yawn. "You saw that, didn't you?"

"I did. Did you not get enough sleep last night," Connor asked.

"Well, for a majority of the night I was kept up, by a massive wolf who has been wanting to make sure that he would be successful in getting me pregnant. Though we won't know if all of those late nights of us going at it helps. Though I believe that it helped make chances higher of me getting pregnant," Equin said as Connor wrapped his arms around Equin, nuzzling his face into her neck, taking in her scent.

"You know that I hate playing the waiting game," Connor said.

"I know it's annoying to wait, but we will know soon enough. Once I become pregnant, would you allow me to head down to town to visit my sisters, and let them know that they are going to become aunts," Equin asked.

Connor thought about it for a moment. "I only want what is best for you and our pup. I don't want to run the risk of you losing our pup. But I will only allow you to see them. But then again that young unmated wolf, I don't want him anywhere around you and our pup. That boy will only cause you stress and I don't want that. If it puts our little family at risk, then I won't allow it to happen. You and my pups are my top priority. With that being said, I think it would be best if you got some rest."

"Will you lay down with me and hold me while I rest," Equin asked.

Connor picked Equin up, carrying her to the bed, gently laying her on the bed, before climbing in the bed behind her, holding her close in a protective manner; making Equin feel safe as she drifted off to sleep.

My beautiful little mate, I won't allow anyone to come between you and I. I will kill anyone who feels the strong need to come between us, Connor thought to himself while holding Equin tight.

Three weeks later

Connor had woken up early looking down at his little mate who was safely curled up in his arms, sleeping peacefully. My beautiful mate, what would have happened had you not stormed your way into the mayor's office, asking why your sister, Angelina, was being put in the position to make with me to keep the peace of the town. I couldn't have planned that better knowing that you are protective of your family. I'm glad you played into my plan. I now have the woman of my dreams by my side, Connor thought while looking down at Equin. Equin curled further into Connor, making him debate whether or not he wants to get up and go about his day.

Connor broke out of his thoughts when he heard a knock on the door. Slowly Connor got up out of bed, making his way to the door, opening it spotting Haley and Deke standing in front of him.
