Meeting the friends

Jennie was excited and the reason why she’s meeting Lisa’s childhood friends, and a part of her hopes they’ll like her, but she was also nervous like how she was a bit nervous meeting lisa’s family then shook off nervousness as she looks around the house more as Lisa was helping her mom buy groceries. As she sat, she remembered that Lisa had given her some information on who her friends were, which she had requested.

Flashback

“OK, let me tell you about my friends first,” she said, showing a picture of them. Jennie thought the picture was cute as Lisa pointed to the girl: “This girl is my childhood best friend, and her name is Palisa,” she said, introducing her to Jennie, who chuckled at the almost similarity of the name, which amused Lisa too, then continued speaking, “She was in the same dance crew with me and BamBam,” she informed Jennie, who nodded as Lisa moved to another person. “Her name is Venice, and she owns a bar,” she said, then Lisa continued, “and she also is a manager of our other friend.” She explained then showing another person, “that’s Diana, our friend, the one who Venice manages as she’s also an actress.” Lisa continued explaining, which made Jennie realize something. “Hey, wasn’t she the girl we watched in a Thai show once?” she asked as she remembered, making Lisa nod as Jennie and Lisa will usually watch Thai movies and TV shows together, and it was fun watching Lisa’s favorite TV shows there. “Yeah, but she isn’t that popular, but she’s getting there,” Lisa said proudly as they moved on to the next.

Lisa pointed to another girl, “that’s Ayra, she’s a fan of kpop, especially blackpink.” Lisa informed Jennie, who laughed, and then showed the last person, who was a guy, “and that’s Ttweyn.” She finished the introduction of her friends to Jennie, who thanked her for it, to which Lisa replied, “Hey, don’t be nervous, they’ll love you.” She said as she walked towards Jennie and pulled her closer as she kissed her temple as Jennie hugged her. “I know, I just want to get to know them a bit,” she replies. “I understand, but you’ll get to know them more when you meet them,” is what Lisa says to her.

Still, even with Lisa’s reassurance, this still makes Jennie nervous about meeting her friends and wonders about it. As she thought Lisa and her mom arrived home carrying the groceries, Jennie helped put away the things they bought. “Oh Jennie, how’s your mom? Has she gotten to the plane yet?” Chitthip asked Jennie, who nodded. “Yeah, she told me she’ll text me when she gets home,” was her reply, and yeah, after enjoying a few days in Thailand, Jennie’s mom left as she had work to do and had to go back to Korea after hearing that Lisa’s mom smiled and said, “Hmm, I’m thinking why don’t we have Korean food today?” Lisa’s mom said, surprising Jennie, “We found a Korean market here, and Lisa mentioned to me that you’re missing Korean food.” Chitthip said as Jennie stared at Lisa, who smiled as Jennie decided to go help Chitthip make the food she and Lisa like.

After that, Lisa decided that they’d be having dinner outside since she and her friends would be hanging out in Venice’s bar, and after changing, they were off. Lisa decided to use a Tuk-tuk to drive them to the bar since it was near anyways and comforted Jennie, who’s been very nervous, and Jennie appreciated it and snuggled closer, which made them both happy that they were able to do this freely as they needed to hide their relationship for reasons. After a while, they stopped and Jennie noticed the bar was closed and looked at Lisa, who spoke, “she decided to close the bar for today so we can catch up,” she told Jennie, who nodded and opened the door.

As she did, she then shouted, “I’m here,” and Jennie was a bit shocked but smiled upon seeing Lisa’s friends smiling upon seeing her and running to hug her. She watched from the sidelines as she didn’t want to disturb their moment, but Arya spotted her instantly: “Uh, Lisa, why did you bring Jennie here?” she asks as everyone realized there was another person there, and it made Jennie a bit anxious upon their stares. She then felt Lisa’s comforting hand on her: “Well guys, it’s because she’s my girlfriend, and I want to introduce her to you.” She announced that in English to her friends as Jennie held her hand tightly, looking at their reactions.
