11. Trip

Rayan's POV

When i came down for breakfast i saw inaya and other girls were also present there. Ma told them not to leave before having breakfast.

I went to the kitchen to help ma. I love helping her whenever i get time. She was making aloo pharathas while i helped her in making tea.

When i looked outside i saw inaya laughing with others. Dadi was adoring her. She looked so perfect sitting there like she was meant to. And her laugh is so beautiful that i couldn't help but smile myself.

Just like yesterday when i went to eman's room to give them ice creams. The door was opened slightly and i saw her dancing freely in her cute bear pajamas. My bear.

She was lost in her own world and i couldn't help not admiring her.

I was brought back from my thoughts when ma smacked me lightly on my head.

"Ouch what was that for?" i questioned. "Since you were lost in daydreaming and totally forgot about tea" she narrowed her eyes at me.

I looked at the tea and it was almost about to overflow but i quickly turned off the stove.

I started pouring it into cups when ma said "so what's going on between you two" i looked at her frowning and she pointed towards me and then inaya.
"There's nothing ma" i said while avoiding her eyes. "Beta ma hoon tumhari sab samajhti hu" and with that she left leaving me in my thoughts.

I went out too and settled down. Inaya's eyes lightened up when she saw pharathas just like they did last night when she saw ice creams.

Ma gave her some and she thanked her with a huge smile. She happily munched on her food. God why she's so adorable like a child.

I was in the class with ali. At the end of the class the professor informed us about trip. As everyone's exams just finished so they are taking us on a three days trip to relax.

"Are you going?" ali asked me as we were going towards cafeteria. "I don't think so" i shrugged. "Oh come on buddy it'll be fun" he whinned but i ignored him.

We entered the cafe and i was looking for a seat when ali waved towards someone. I followed his gaze and saw inaya and the rest. We went near them and got seated.

"Did u guys heard about the trip?" eman asked.

"Yes we did" ali answered.

"So you all are going right?" ishaan questioned this time. Everyone said yes and inaya nodded too.

"Too bad rayan is not-" ali was about to speak but i kicked his leg and exclaimed "yes of course." Ali gave me a unbelievable stare but i ignored and started eating my lunch.

After everyone were done and was about to leave, i whispered to Inaya so only she could hear, "Hey want to go to library?"

Happiness filled my heart when she agreed. We went to the library and she picked up a new book before we settled down.

"Do you like reading?" she asked while opening the book.

"Not really," i shrugged.

"Then why do you spend your time here when you don't even like reading?" she raised her eyebrows.

"Because that's the only excuse i have to spend more time with you," i murmured to myself subconsciously.

"Huh?" she frowned and i realised.

"Uhh it's quiet here and i like peace" i said hoping she would believe and fortunately she did. While nodding she went back to reading her book.

The next morning we boys were there waiting for girls. We've been waiting for almost 20 minutes now but the girls were still not here. Finally after five more minutes they came.

"Thank god we reached on time" alizeh said.

"Why are you guys so late" i asked.

"Oh we left early but saw book store on our way and couldn't help ourselves" eman spoke.

Ishaan rolled his eyes and said in a mocking tone "you all waste so much time on those silly books." Riya smacked him hard behind his head and he glared at her.

"Its better than wasting time on real men" inaya whispered to herself but i heard it.

I raised my eyebrows at her and her cheeks reddened with embarrassment when she realised.

Just then the professor told us to get inside bus. Inaya rushed avoiding me making me chuckle.

I helped her with putting away her bags and she muttered a quick thank you and rushed inside. I shook my head in amusement.

After putting away bags i went inside too. Eman pushed past me and sat on the seat i was about to, leaving only one free besides inaya. I looked at my sister and she gave me a sheepish grin.

I went and sat besides inaya. She was still avoiding looking at me.

We played antakshri and after playing for hours everyone got tired.

Everyone went to doing their own things. Inaya started reading her book and she was immediately lost in it. Sometimes she'd frown and scrunch up her nose, and sometimes she'd smile shyly. I couldn't help but keep looking at her, but not wanting to feel like a creep and took my headphones out and listened to some music.

After a few minutes i looked at her and she wasn't reading anymore but just staring out of the window with her eyes closed. I tapped her shoulder, she looked at me with her beautiful doe eyes. I offered her one headphone, she was hesitant at first but then took it.

She smiled as soon the music hit her ears making me automatically smile too. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes to get some sleep.

I felt someone's head on my shoulder and saw that inaya already fell asleep. Her lips were in a pout and she was looking absolutely adorable.

Her sweet scent and warmth enveloping me. I smiled and lowered myself a little so she's comfortable.

I placed my head on her's and soon fell asleep with a smile on my face.
