your standing in the kitchen when She walks into the house.
5 bottles on the table, all empty.
Passed out on the couch.
Your screaming while shes crying.
Is this more important to you then her.
All she wanted was your love.
But you love something else.
Is the drink sweeter then her.
Does it tell you everything is allright.
Does it whisper I love you.
No! It is like the beguileing serpant.
In the garden of eden.
It says come closer, It tells you to do this and do that.
Your children tremble when you scream.
They say yes daddy of course daddy.
Your so drunk you sneek into the eldest girls room,
She did nothing wrong, but she felt so right.
Dont you feel guilty?
Of course not, you dont remember.
You wonder why she seems to fear you,
You stole her innocence away.
So is the adiction worth ruinining a life.
The girl is growing up so depressed and alone.
She thinks she needs the man,
She will always do what he says.
17 so beautiful and sweet.
Inside her heart she hides that secret,
Your addiction gave her greif.
She will never forget thoes terrifying nights.
but hey you still have that bottle of whiskey.
It must feel good running down your throat.
not knowing what your doing.
You wont want to remember but its comming back.
You cant tell her your sorry because its to late.
Her body lies in the coffin deep under the ground.
She left a note on her bloody chest.
Now dont you feel guilty?
You took my friend away.
Abuse, Alcohol, Adiction.
Was it worth the pain you caused.
