We have wasted a few days since the first time I had sex with Yongbok,we wanted to spend a small bit of time alone where no one would interrupt us. At the palace,there is never a day that isn't full of chaos and to us,it's stressful.

Maybe in a different life, we were meant to have a calm peaceful life alone, but in this lifetime,there is never a break or a moment that wasn't rough. "Hyunjin,when we get back to the clan ,I want to marry you"

Minho is the one who would have to give the blessing for that but we have other things to deal with like preparing for war with the Qiang Dynasty and not to mention his father's trial. "I'l have to ask for Minho's blessing but of course love"

It should buy a bit of time as I assume that it'll take a few weeks to get Minho settled down enough. By then,we should have people calmed down from the trial in order to get married. "Well Minho did seem cool by it when the ceremony of our crowning was over"

"I know but I wanted to talk to him about a few other things as well" Like his attitude and what he thinks he's pulling. I don't trust Minho like I did when we were kids,he has become more scheming and more bitter.

That might also be something that I have to ask Jisung since the least he can do is answer a few simple questions. I look over to my right to see the tree that is close to the Qiang clan's territory.

"Get your acting game on" I whisper to him as I see the guards already close to the wooden gates. I bow down to them quickly "Hello,we're travelers from the Xia clan" The Xia clan is the northern clan that they are at peace with at the moment or at least that's what Uncle said to Hwayoung,he wouldn't lie to her.

"State your reason for visiting?" I was able to get a idea of the writing and the way of speaking by the few letters uncle sent me and Hwayoung so I forged a letter,I just hope they don't know everyone's name in the clan,500 people in the clan and that was what was documented before mother left the clan so probably more by now.

"I'm here to see my granny,Sumin,and he's here to see my uncle who is his father Moonsung." It's amazing how Yongbok was able to pick up their accent by just a sentence that the guard spoke and the imitation of my mother's accent.

Yongbok hands them the letter as they carefully examine it before opening the wooden gates "You are permitted to stay here for 3 days and then you must leave" 3 days? What is coming up then? It's odd because they never used to have a curfew or anything of that sort.

"May I ask why? My granny has been sick lately and I worry for her safety" He lets a few fake tears roll down his cheek as I try my hardest not to smile. He's so good at deceiving people even though I feel bad for making him do that.

I watch as he collapses to the ground as I hold him lightly by the shoulders but in a brotherly way. I know he's acting right now which is very impressive but for me,I would never let them come in but let Jisung with a few guards aid the weak.

"I'm sorry about my cousin,he hasn't been the best of health, he's been a weak mess but he's been worried about our dear ol granny." I bow my head down shaking my head "Poor lady can't get around anymore..nothing like she used to be"

"Alright let's get you and your friend to a rest quarter outside of the Dynasty that way as long as we are on shift you can see her. We are only here during the sunning hours so you have to come back before darkened hours"

Darkened hours? Sunning hours? I'm so glad that we don't say those types of things "Thank you,we are forever grateful for your generosity" I would have said thanks for feeding and giving us shelter for us. But each place is its own.
