What do I think of this "song"? Well, I will honestly say that the first time I heard this song, it wasn't half bad. I wouldn't have gotten on my IPod, but it was a song I could stand. Well, lets say it didn't last like for a long time. Heard it once, 7/10. Second time, 6/10. Tenth time, OKAY I GET IT THIS SONG IS POPULAR! .... THOUSANDS OF TIMES LATER... SHUT THE HECK UP!!!! Yeah, the song is catchy, but being played over and over is going to get it more views I will admit, but maybe not the popularity it needs. The song now has a raputation of being one of the most overplayed songs of the decade. It isn't a bad song, it is well produced, but it became annoying. I have this one best friend who loved the song; she said it was amazing. When we heard it in music class about two weeks later, she said that she hated the song. Our music teacher asked why. She said because it was played too much. I turned around to her and said, "Really? You couldn't have noticed that 2 weeks ago?" Seriously people, when a song is popular, it will be replayed over and over, and the song could be ruined for other people, not to mention the people who hated the track at the beginning. For example, What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. Now, I absolutely love One Direction. I love their music no matter what anybody says, but when they began to get popular, I couldn't stand that song. It was overplayed! When I heard the beginning chords and the cowbell, I yelled, "Shut it off!" Now, I don't do that, you know why? It is because it has stopped being played 24/7. I can stand it. Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" has faded some. When I hear it, it is still hard not to cringe a bit at it, but I can stand it. Sometimes, I even find myself humming along to it a bit. It has gotten better, but still is too early for me to be like, "Turn it up". Yeah, my opinion is that good song, silly and playful, but a bit like a virus. At first you may be able to handle it, but then it gets worse. It takes awhile to get over it, but near its end, you can start to stand it once again.

I have to agree with 1DHO4ever, at first the song was actually really good! Then it got worse because it was overplayed, finally two girls sang it in the talent show and I LOST IT!! They sang it awfully!!! I will have to say, the music video was ridiculously funny. On just dance three it's not half bad either it just gets sooooo boring, and I liked the song because it was catchy. But now it it just to over played!!!!

Same with 'What Makes You Beautiful'
