Pretend as friends.. Right

A prank that was formed to gain the attention of Confucius' ex, a deal sealed for the sake of Joan's money-saving only to be twisted into something new; something better than any form of attention or money.

Pure love. Out of pure fate.

The two had never attempted to properly get to know each other but getting into a situation this sticky brought the best out of them; their personalities.

Joan had always been viewed as the odd one due to her style, lack of confidence in speech and awkward ways of communicating. It went hand in hand with Confucius' character; the one and only "airhead" matching with the "outcast" of the school.

But their plans weren't important anymore.
Revealing their intentions was the true deal by the end of the night

And so it happened

The tension of the kiss felt like a thousand butterflies fluttering in their stomachs. Joan's hair matched the color of her face ideally and Confucius' grin only grew wider once he pulled back

"Confucius...I .. I-I mean I can't even wrap my head around all this— The kiss was so amazing... "
Joan paused, staring at the blue haired boy with her face turning more red by the minute

"..But I'm still afraid about Harriet.. I mean we just got back together as friends and I'm a part of the group again, thankfully, but—"
"Joan, you're not focusing on the right things!"
Confucius exclaimed, gently squeezing the girls hands in his own and staring into her eyes deeply. He sighed

"We both confessed to each other how we really feel.. We are a thing! And Harriet isn't a part of this at all, I never made things official with her again and I'll make sure to clarify we are boyfriend and girlfriend!"
The boy said with pride in his voice, making Joan grin a little

"..Ssso tomorrow?" she raised a brow
"...Tomorrow?..Oh yeah tomorrow, sure.."
Confucius scratched the back of his head, feeling uneasy to speak up out of fear. That wasn't the focus point for either of them in that moment though, and so she simply smiled at him

"It's getting pretty late though, ugh. I wasn't given any curfew or anything though so I should be fine"
The red head mentioned, seeing Confucius' eyes glisten
"We can totally do a sleepover!! At my house!! My parents will definitely let us!! Well.. They wouldn't really.. be here anyway to see us.."
He mumbled, making Joan's eyes widen

"...Wait are they like.. are they d—"
"At least they left me 1k for the week! Sweet!"
"Ah, got it." she muttered to herself. The money deal was a thing after all.

Shortly after the two started heading off.. Or perhaps waited to head off from the machine they were on.. in the ocean

~ Time skip ~

Confucius giggled as he unlocked the door to his place, Joan snickering right beside him as the two had been talking the entire time
"JFK should've kept the bracelet!"
"I know right?! When do you ever get a "slut" bracelet in your life from your best friend?"
She giggled, stepping in before the boy. Joan gulped, realizing the situation she was in. A sleepover? With the guy she just got together with?? And kissed???

Talk about dream come true

"The kitchen is here, the bathroom is down the hallway, the living room is obviously here, the second kitchen and bathroom are a liiittle further with the second living room too—"
"I think I'm okay with the rooms!"
Confucius' speech got cut off before he could mention the countless other rooms in his mansion. He shrugged and simply smiled it off
