20. Date night

Lucia's POV

„Who are you texting Lu?" Alba pulled me out of my thoughts while I texted Pablo before practice.

„My boyfriend." I grinned, knowing I just dropped the bomb of the year. Elena's face immediately popped up behind a corner, her mouth agape like Albas. A few other girls turned their heads also towards me, knowing I haven't had a boyfriend when I first moved here.

„Boyfriend?!" Alba screeched and immediately sat down next to me. Elena was quick to follow, taking a seat on my other side.

„Please tell me it's Gavi."

„Who else would it be?" I snarled

„Finally for god's sake!" Elena yelled, a smile from one ear to the other covering her face.

„When did he ask you?" Alba asked as we walked to practice.

„Saturday night after his game. We're having our first official date tonight." I say a bit shyer this time, still not used to Pablo being my boyfriend.

„Stop that's so sweet! where are you two going?" Elena chimed in, pulling me closer to her.

„He said it's a surprise, I should dress nice." I explained, becoming even more shyer than I already was.

„Could y'all help me with my outfit?" I glanced up to my friends, them being attackers made me look like a little girl. I wasn't exactly the tallest, thank god it was enough to play as libero.

„Of course! Just face time us and we'll help you out."

I got home at around three, before Pablo as he still had practice, and decided to text him. I knew he had physiotherapy, so he was probably on his phone anyway.

I put the phone down and showered before getting ready. Then I called my best friends to get their advice on different outfits.

After like half an hour we finally decided on some black baggy jeans, a nice top and my leather jacket. It was casual but cute and I felt comfortable, so it was the best option to choose.

I kept talking with the girls for a bit while they tried to get all the spicy details from me. There weren't much but I've told them about our little pool incident.

„And Fermin walked in on you guys?" Alba was laughing so hard it made me giggle too.

„Wait let's get that straight, we were just kissing a bit, nothing to walk into." I tried to set the record straight because I didn't have much experience with boys.
