Maddie woke in bed next to Elijah. She smiled as she kissed him. "I missed you. While you were daggered. I really missed you," she said.

"I'm going nowhere again Madeline. I am yours for as long as possible," Elijah told her as he ran a hand over her shoulder.

"Until I die you mean. I'm not silly Elijah. I'm human. I'm going to die at one point," Maddie said as she smiled. "I'm happy though I have you."

Elijah looked to her. He smiled. "I will do my absolute best to make you happy Madeline. I am in love with you," he said.

The door opened and Klaus walked in. Elijah covered up Maddie with the covers. "Mother is having a masquerade ball tonight. Heaven knows why."

Maddie groaned. "Klaus. I am naked here. So unless you want a full display, turn around and leave," she said.

Klaus turned to Maddie. He nodded. "Madeline, as you are the only human I can tolerate, I will grant your request for me to leave."

"Good. If you find your leash, I'll walk you later," Maddie said as she grinned.

Maddie knew how she and Klaus had become close. She was the only human he liked and she had helped him with Lily.

Maddie had all but severed ties with Elena. She hated how her own sister was constantly trying to kill the man she loved and his family.

The Mikaelson family had accepted her for who she was. She was friends with Rebekah who loved having another female in the house.

Elijah turned to Maddie. He smiled. "You need a dress as beautiful as you are," he said.

Maddie rolled her eyes but smiled. She kissed him. "Who said I wanted to go?"

"Me."

"Good point. Fine. I'll go. Only because I want a mind blowing orgasm tonight," Maddie said as she ran a hand over his chest and kissed him.

The door opened again and Lily walked in with Rebekah. Elijah swore under his breath. "Sorry Elijah. We are taking Madeline to get a dress," Rebekah said as she pulled the covers off.

Lily smirked and pulled Maddie out of bed. She looked to her. "Klaus tells me you were naked. You're clearly not."

"No. I wanted to have sex without wolfie watching," Maddie said with a shrug.

The next morning, Elena, Stefan, and Damon were in the kitchen. Elena looked to them. "It was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin," she told the Salvatore brothers.

"As in the Original Witch?" Stefan asked.

"What? How is she even alive? Thought her hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out a thousand years ago," Damon said.

He was still pissed at how Maddie had turned on them all and was now with the originals.

Elena shrugged and sighed. "I don't know. I'm guessing she has a couple connections in the witching community. Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family, including Klaus," she said.

"She was supposed to be the weapon to help us kill Klaus."

Elena shook her head and sighed. "Well, not anymore...at least not according to Elijah," she told them.
