Samuel
"Nick!" I shouted. "What is happening?!" I screamed a bit as I looked down at myself. My eyes blurred a little then refocused. I couldn't help but touch at my hair, it was white, like an old man's, and my eyes...like ice...it was unbelievable. The little fangs in my mouth...cool and deadly...yet childlike.
A dull ache began in my mind.
"I have no idea," Nick's eyes were wide as he stared at me. "Your hair..." he sighed, barely reaching out to touch it. His givers grazed the white ends as he noticed my eyes. "Sam! Your eyes!" He grabbed my face with his hands suddenly and made me look at him.
"Fix it!" I shouted in his ear again, "please...fix it!" I felt tears welling up in my eyes. "What's wrong with me?!" I whined as the ache intensified.
"Uhm..." he lifted me up again, "stay here," he tossed me onto the bed. "I-I'll be back!"
"Wait!" I called stopping him in his tracks, "where are you going?" My body bounced a bit on the bed as I shouted at him.
"Don't worry! Just stay there a minute, I'll be right back!" He strode over and kissed my forehead as he rushed out of the room.
A sharp sound rang in my ears and my hands rushed to cover them. The sound of Nick's heavy footsteps from the stairs attached me. It was like someone was banging on wood right by my ear.
"Paul!" I heard Nick's voice as if it was reverberating near me. "Come here!"
"Hah?!" Paul yelped, "what happened?!"
"Come!" Nick shouted. "He's awake!"
"The Luna?!"Paul questioned.
Again, heavy footsteps hit the stairs and my ears stung. I rolled myself into a ball and held my ears tightly closed as the footsteps got louder and louder and louder.
"Baby?" Nick called. "Baby it's me." I felt his hand touch my arm and then suddenly he was semi-hugging me. "Baby come out." His voice reverberated in my ears.
As I slowly pulled my hands from my ears, it was like the light was flashing in my eyes and the sounds around me were more intensified than before.
I squeezed my eyes shut and felt the tears fall in rivers.

Nicholas"Paul, what's happening?!" I fretted as Sam cried hand kept his eyes closed.
Sam had been in a semi-coma for a week. It had been hell, wondering if he would wake up or not. Neil was usually in the room too, but with Ramsey often hot on his heels, the kid couldn't seem to really catch a break. I would have felt worse, but I knew what it was like...to wait for your mate for so long...and to start to lose hope...at least Ramsey wasn't as old as me...
Neil had kept a keen and watchful eye on Sam, and reported everything. From every sound he made to every movement...Neil was reliable... but it was clear that staying with Sam had a two fold purpose for Neil...
1. He cared for his Luna...and his only true friend.
2. He also escaped Ramsey's attentions.
The only reason he wasn't in the room at that point was because Lula had forced him out to rest.
I relieved him and stayed beside Sam, although I normally was anyway. Beside the bed there were stacks of some of my papers and my computer was on the side table. When I'd fallen asleep, he'd been fine, he'd looked normal.
As Paul gave him the once over, it was like my heart was beating out of my chest. Paul's eyes were knitted together in frustration.
"Luna please open your eyes for me..." he whispered.
Sam barely opened them.
"It's alright Luna," Paul cooed quietly, "does the sound hurt?" He asked.
Sam shook his head.
"Do your eyes hurt?" Paul continued.
Sam again shook his head.
Paul gently took one of Sam's wrists and pulled the sleeve of the long sleeve shirt up. He touched his pulse point and shook his head, then he dragged the shirt up more and looked at the crevice of his elbow. Again, Paul shook his head.
"What's happening?" I stood up and walked over.
"Shhhh," Paul quieted me, "it looks like he's...half transformed or something...maybe even a quarter transformed."
I raised an eyebrow. "I didn't think it was possible?"
"It is," he sighed heavily, "I usually see it in children of mixed parentage...in fact I should've expected it...even if we didn't know previously it's clear that whatever drug was sir pressing his wolf has worn off..."he scrunched his eyebrows.
"What else?" I sensed more from him.
"If this is happening now already...he may be...going through transition..." Paul seemed confused but also somewhat sure.
"Transition?" I couldn't help but feel shock.
Transition was the year of time between when you'd first hear your wolf and when you'd transform for the first time into your true wolf form.
That meant...Samuel definitely wasn't alone in his mind...not that he'd shared that piece of information...if I was him I wouldn't have either. It can be very scary to suddenly have someone talking to you in your head that you have no control over.
It was impossible for Sam to be going through transition even if he had an inner "friend." It had been barely a month...transition took a year and it usually occurred in slow intervals.
"If Sam is displaying this type of transition at this rate...there's no telling to what his rate of change will be...I know that there have been studies that said mixed parentage wolves face faster transition rates and that those transition rates normally turn into either transition failures, half or a quarter transition , and even sometimes death..." he bit his nails as he spoke, staring at Sam. "This rate of transition takes normal children 5 to 6 months just to make it this far."
"Paul, are you telling me that Sam can morph into a wolf?" I deadpanned as his words usually flew in one ear and not the other.
