Gaining consciousness, I could feel my ears ringing and the sound of an engine running. I attempted to open my eyes but ultimately ended up closing them due to the sun. The sun? An engine? Where am I!?

Last I remember I was with Sandy in a hotel room and I fell asleep after calling Zain. Panic set in and my eyes burst open.

I was met by the view of a train carriage, the same train carriage me and Sandy took on our way here. Well... we aren't there anymore. I looked from side to side but I was alone. No sight of Sandy or Zain, or anyone for that matter.

The sun stung my eyes and the sound only made my ears ring louder. But atleast I was alone. I looked down to see my backpack at my feet. My phone! My phone must be in my backpack, I can ask what's going on!

My hands scrambled until I was holding an unlocked phone. 4 missed calls!? One from Sandy, one from Zain and two from the Anderson parents.

I dialed Sandy, after a few vibrations I heard a bit of commotion. More specifically, Sandy scrambling to awnser her phone.

"Hello?" I managed to croak out, my voice still a fraction of its normal self due to my waking up. I heard a sigh on the other end of the phone. They were in a car, I could tell by the sound of the indicator and the sound of the buzz.

"Alex, thank goodness you're okay!" She beamed, but I was not matching her energy. She's in a car and I'm stuck ALONE on a train??

"What the fuck, Sandy! Why am I on a train!" I said, now realising my situation. I could've missed my stop, I could've been kidnapped! Did she gave no consideration!?

"About that..." She began, "I don't want you to freak out, but things were already tense when Zain arrived and collected us. We had to get on the train to get to his car since he couldn't drive 12 hours just to get us. So after we got to the stop where his car was we kinda.. left you on the train. But don't worry the train will stop in about half an hour give or take!"

I was both shocked and slightly offended. But somehow flattered that Zain carried me all the way to the train station.

The line began to crackle as my battery got lower and lower until it disconnected. Damn it. Now I can't even text and ask what's going on!

So I sat, waiting. Waiting and waiting and waiting until the only modern thing in the room lit up with the words "final stop".

I stood up so quick I nearly fell and gave myself whiplash. But something isn't right... I can't quite place my finger on it.

I felt a warm hoodie hugging me, when I looked down I almost gasped. I'm wearing Zains hoodie!? I was asleep and he dressed me? That both sweet and creepy.

I grabbed my backpack but as I lifted it, a peice of paper slipped out. It glide through the air without a care in the world before landing on my un-shoed feet. Where are my shoes!? Could this day get any weirder?

I bent down and picked up the note, but I didn't recognise the handwriting.

Sorry if this seemed a bit creepy dear, but this is the woman from the beach who clapped you on in that waterfight! My husband told me not to bother with helping but I insisted, when I noticed you two lying in the sand and your little friends clothes down by the shore I just knew you'd forget about them. So I folded them and put them into your bag. Much love kiddo; Francine Smith.

Oh my god, don't tell me. I unbundled my backpack and sure enough, there were Sandys clothes. So I went through all that embarrassing clothes swapping and making that poor employee carry Sandy for no reason!? Poor guy.
