One day, when there were no matches scheduled for both teams, Saumya found herself in her apartment, enjoying a rare moment of relaxation. The sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow over the room as she lounged on the couch, lost in the rhythm of her favorite music.
With the music filling the air, Saumya couldn't help but feel the urge to dance. With a playful smile, she rose from the couch and began to move to the beat, her body swaying gracefully to the music as she let herself get lost in the moment.
As she twirled and spun around the room, a light breeze swept through the open window, carrying with it the scent of rain. Saumya paused, her senses tingling with anticipation as she glanced toward the window.
And then, in a moment that seemed straight out of a movie, the window creaked open, and Shubman stepped inside, his clothes damp from the rain, droplets of water glistening on his hair and skin.
Saumya's breath caught in her throat at the sight of him, her heart racing with a mixture of surprise and excitement. Shubman's presence filled the room, his eyes locking with hers in an intense gaze that sent shivers down her spine.
"Shubman!" Saumya exclaimed, her voice filled with delight as she took in his unexpected arrival.
Shubman grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief as he shrugged off his jacket, the droplets of water scattering across the floor. "Surprise," he said simply, his voice tinged with amusement.
Saumya couldn't help but laugh, her heart swelling with happiness at the sight of him. "What are you doing here? And why are you soaking wet?" she asked, a playful glint in her eyes.
Shubman flashed her a charming smile, his expression teasing. "I was out for a walk and got caught in the rain. But when I saw your window open, I couldn't resist dropping by to say hello."
Saumya shook her head, a smile playing on her lips. "You're ridiculous, Shubman. But I'm glad you're here."
With a graceful movement, Saumya crossed the room and reached for a towel, offering it to Shubman with a playful smirk. "You might want to dry off before you catch a cold."
Shubman accepted the towel with a grateful nod, his eyes never leaving Saumya's as he dried himself off. The air between them crackled with electricity, a silent understanding passing between them as they stood in the warmth of Saumya's apartment.
As Shubman finished drying off, he folded the towel neatly and placed it on the nearby table, his gaze meeting Saumya's once more.
"So, what were you up to before I rudely interrupted?" he asked, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
Saumya chuckled, feeling a surge of affection for the man standing before her. "Just enjoying some music and dancing around like a fool. Care to join me?"
Without hesitation, Shubman stepped forward, his hand reaching out to hers as he pulled her into his arms. Together, they began to sway to the music, their movements synchronized in a dance that felt effortless and natural.
As they danced, the distance between them melted away, leaving only the warmth of their connection and the shared joy of the moment.
"You've gotten better at this," she teased making him chuckle as he twirled her. "Well, I figured that to keep up with you, I have to practice," he answered before playfully shaking his head making the water droplets fall everywhere from his hair.
