" Ok so let me get this thing straight, I am getting bored and thinking about cleo, and cleo is cosmic ,who is IRIS ,who I came to reveal their identities and take them down but I always think about her and she is my best friend, so I lie about not finding their identities to V, who raised me and I'm alive because of him, but I didn't tell him because she is my friend..... Or... I want her to be more than just my friend... " I said and immediately going back to going being crazy on wat the heck I just said
" What!? No I don't like her right? We're enemies!! One day she is gonna know about it and she's going to hate me and try to attack me too.... Won't she..? " I said trailing off millions of emotions for the first time in my life since my parents left me
" Ughh what is happening to me!??....Did I... Go too far V...? " I said drowning myself in the mattress.
After a few minutes I fell asleep and woke up because of a call on my phone. I reached my hand to the table and answered the phone without looking at the caller id
" Hello..? " I said still sleepy and uninterested on taking the phone but here we are
" Uh max are your sleeping.. ? At noon...? " V said front he other side of the call making me jolt up at the sudden familiar voice
" Oh uh yes, it's just that going out took a toll on me " I said not trying to stutter as much as possible
" Okay...? Well max! It's a really good news so I need you to come to our base this fast!! " He said very much excited... Well... Too excited..
" Haha... You seem cheerful today what happened " I asked concerned on what's kind of level it could go
" I'll tell you when you reach here so come fast!!" He said excited
" Okay" I said and put on a coat and went outside to our base
This was definitely bad vibes, what made him so excited after so many years?? I was thinking of all the possible things that he would be extremely happy about but nothing made sense
I entered the base and climbed a set of stairs and a couple of security procedures and went inside our meeting room. Surprisingly and very much concerningly every villain was there and.... Enjoying??
I saw V standing next to siren and I went to him. He waved at me and motioned me to come to him as soon as he saw me
Woahh... He looks different!
" Heyyy! It's been long what is all this chaos happening here " I said looking at the crowd of people in the other room
" Come one you little brat it's been a while " He said giving me a hug and escorting me to his office
" Soo what is happening?? Why so much of suspense " I said expecting millions of response
" Well it's time I finally show you" He said and took out a wand.. More precisely lady áines wand
" Uhhhm WHAT!?? " I almost shouted in surprise. How could he even be able to touch her with so much difference in strength and she has more power than him considering he got part of his power sealed.
"What!? Why are you screaming max!?? " Siren said covering her ears with her ears
"How can you not scream!?? " I said looking at the beautiful white wand with floating crystal ball and other small glowing crystals around it emitting light
"Well of course I knew it would surprise you " He said proud of himself with what he achieved
"But is this the only surprise?? " I said as he would not be happy just because he got his power and he's hiding something...
