As soon as Daella woke up she would begin her studies with her maids, then later that evening after lunch she would attend training with her Knight.
Day after day, she would come back from training, physically aching and tired, but would keep pushing through. Needing to get stronger.
The princess began wearing long sleeved dresses to cover the bruises and cuts she began to acquire during training.
Almost daily, Rhaenyra would request she eat dinner with them but she would refuse, giving excuses that her studies must come first.
The little princess started to gather a goal, she wasn't just training herself physically but mentally.
The books she would read were books about other kingdoms or about the people of the kingdom. She wanted to know it all, everything that had to do with this kingdom and those who reside in it.
She would memorize maps, names, anything she could get her hands on to find information about this time, this world she's in. The Targaryen name was familiar to her, but she still doesn't remember most of her past life, just some bits towards the end of her life when she died.
The time she came from before wasn't nice to her, she would starve or go with little to no sleep. Her family from that world struggled. They were split up and she was alone for a very long time.
In the middle of one of her training sessions, "Daella!" a female voice called to her.
She turned her gaze towards her sister, Raehnyra. She lowers her sword and hands it to Criston. Staying put on where she stood, as Rhaenyra makes her way to the girl. "I wanted to say my farewells."
Rhaenyra and her family were leaving? Possibly back to Dragonstone. The little princess knew it was about time.
Finally, the little princess thought. Now she wont be disturbed.Daella slightly bows to Rhaenyra "I wish you safe travels sister. " Daella leaving it bland and short. She turns back to Criston and holds her hand out for the sword.
She feels hands gently placed on her shoulders making Daella's body stiffen from the sudden physical contact.
"Daella. I wont be returning for quite some time." She could hear Rhaenyra take a deep inhale.
"I can already assumed what your reply is going to be, but I wanted to offer this to you. Come with me. I want to get to know you. We all do. Our brother Aegon is coming as well, you can get to know him more, and my boys." A kind and caring, sincere tone coming from Rhaenyra words, her request.
It sounded like there was more meaning behind her words. Daella could only think that there were schemes Raenhyra was planning, especially since she wanted to have her closer to her sons. Marriage? Daella could only hope that wasn't Rhaenyras thought.
"Don't stay here, secluding yourself." A sad tone with that statement lingering from Rhaenyra.
Daella looks to Criston, not knowing how to reply to Rhaenyra. She takes a deep inhaled breath, holding it, then turns and faces Rhaenyra. She slowly lets out the breath, looking into Rhaenyra eyes.
"No thank you." With that one response she bows to her sister, "Safe travels." another short response and walks away from Rhaenyra as quickly as possible.
Criston puts the swords on the rack, glancing over towards Rhaenyra, who has a sad look on her face. He quickly follows after the little princess.
The princess begins to lock herself away in her room the rest of the day not wanting to face the wrath of her sister for the short response.
Once the little princess got word from a maid that Rhaenyra and her family had left to Dragonstone early the next morning, she planned for her lunch to be in the gardens so she could relax.
Daella loved observing the flowers, but her favorite time of year was when the snow falls on the ground, the white fluffy powder covering everything. She loved winter, the cold.
As Daella sat eating a sandwich and reading a book, she heard someone lightly clear their throat. Her eyes turn to the culprit disrupting her reading time.
A silver haired boy, dressed in green. Aemond. One of her older brothers. She could have sworn he would have gone back to Old Town when they're sister left.
When he noticed he got the little princess's attention he slightly bows "Please forgive my intrusion little princess, i came to visit you."
Daellas eyes slowly squint at him, not trusting him. She continues to stay quit, not replying to him.
Aemond stands there awkwardly not knowing what to say to the princess. "uhm, sister.." before he could say more Daella cuts his words off swiftly,
"Do not call me that. It is just Princess to you" Her tone blunt, no emotion present. Aemond sighs lightly under his breath, he was warned she's a tough one.
"You're right, my apologies my Princess." Daella just stares at him with an annoyed look as he apologies, but still refers to her as HIS. She then sighs to herself but lets it go.
"No, I'm sorry, that was not only uncalled for, but improper of me to take out my annoyance on you." Daella moves her book off her lap and stands up, wiping her hands on her skirt.
She might not count them as family but she still has to show respect. This world is still new to her and she wants to at least live first.
"What was your name again? I'm sorry, we've just only met and I'm not to good with names" A clear lie the princess is spewing out of her mouth, but the boy before her doesn't need to know that.
A sad look showers over the boys face but disappears as he makes his face blank with no emotion. "Aemond. I'm your second eldest brother."
"Ah, that's right. my apologies" She does a small curtsy.
"No need to apologies." The boys thoughts start to run wild, 'the girl is very well spoken'. He starts to drift off into thoughts while staring off at the princess.
Daella started getting a little uncomfortable with his eyes staring her down, she begins to fidget with her hands which causes Aemond to pop back into reality. Taking instant notice of her uneasiness with the prince's presence.
"Would you like a sandwich, Prince Aemond?" Daella says trying to level out the uncomfortable feeling.
"No thank you. I should get back to my studies. if you'll excuse me" The prince giving a short and bland reply, turns and makes his way out of the gardens. Back into the hallways of the castle, disappearing to who knows where.
Daella sits back down, trying to relax once again with her book, nibbling on some of the fruit slices that were cut up for her.
The princess's eyes slowly start to shut on her as sleep takes over her.
The princess, having been asleep for quiet some time, slightly shifts in her sleep as she feels her body being lifted up.
The princess snuggles closer into the chest of the man picking her up. Daella just assuming it was Cole carrying her back to her chambers.
So she relaxing into the man arms. When she's laid down into her bed, she feels a kiss planted on her forehead then a voice talking, "sleep well, my sweet sister."
Aemond. He brought her back to her room. The princess was to tired and dazed to process, so she continues to just sleep. Her breathing slowing down as she drifts into a deep sleep.
