A.N. This chapter was supposed to be published tomorrow, but since I really liked the comments in the previous chapter, I wanted to see your reaction here too.
Payu eventually accepted Rain's decision. He dropped Rain by his apartment, Payu packed the few belongings he had there and went back to his house. The situation wasn't so terrible: Payu thought that he could use that opportunity to get rid of Stop and convince Som to change his attitude, then go back to Rain and start the long path to forgiveness. It wasn't his best plan, but there wasn't room to change it at that moment.
The plan didn't seem that difficult after all, but as soon as he took the phone to call Som and see what was truly going on, his fingers didn't seem to respond to his command. Even the thought of typing Som's phone number felt like a betrayal to what he thought of his relationship with Rain. That was such a terrible mistake. He knew his honor was demanding a solution to Som's problem, but his heart was forcing him to solve Rain's situation first.
He looked at his phone and was about to press on Rain's phone number, but then he was sure that Rain would have never picked up, considering how mad he was at him, so he changed his strategy. He went back to Rain's apartment and rang the doorbell. Once, nothing. Twice, nothing. At the third time, Payu started getting nervous and used his spare key to enter. A letter was on the kitchen counter.
"Hello Payu, I'm not disappointed by your behavior, I can't deny that I actually expected you to act like that. However, let me tell you that I don't know when, or even if this wound you caused will ever heal. You knew how hard it was for me to feel used by Ple... and yet you failed to notice the signals... I'm sorry but I can't go on like this. I went back to my father, and even if he never thought it for real, he was actually right when he said that I'm an incompetent... and incompetent at seeing who actually cares about me. Good bye Payu, I hope you all the best"
When Payu read that letter, Rain was already at the gate of his parent's hotel. He parked in the parking lot in front of the hotel, the receptionist sighed in disbelief as she saw him entering the hall. She welcomed him calmly, but then she quickly called her boss when Rain was in the café section of the hall asking for a glass of water.
"Rain..." Type said with trembling voice as he came downstairs right after the receptionist's phone call.
"D..." Rain only managed to say as he saw his father standing a few meters away from him.
"Rain" Type repeated and rushed to hug him as tight as he could.
"I'm sorry Rain... I have been such a fool... I love you so much... I'm so sorry... Rain... I promise I will never hide anything from you ever again... trust me" and he repeated similar phrases several times until both him and Rain calmed down a little. However, Type soon noticed that Rain was still sobbing a little bit. At first he thought that it was because of his return, but then he realized that it was something different.
"Rain? What's wrong? Did you come here alone?"
"Yes dad... I broke up with Payu" Rain eventually managed to say through his sobs. Type didn't say anything, he hugged him, making Rain hide his face against his chest, and patted his head while doing his best to hold back his tears.
