Chaper Four Spreading The News

Lyric's POV

Wow! Twins I can't believe it! I thought to myself as Niall finished packing his over night bag. I had a sudden burst of energy so I've been done for a while. I can't wait to be a mom! One thing I glad about is that I don't have morning sickness, I thought.

"All ready to go my dear?" Niall said coming down the stairs. I got up off the couch and grabbed my bag.

"Yes I am! I can't wait to tell your parents Niall, they're going to be so excited!!" I cheered. We walked out the door and got in the car.

"I know babe! What are we going to get them to announce that they are going to be grandparents?" He asked heading off on our two hour drive.

"Maybe we can just surprise them with the pictures?" I replied reclining the seat a little bit, so I could take a nap.

"That sounds perfect." Niall said softly intertwining my hand with his.

"I'm going to take a nap for a little bit, is that okay?" I yawned.

"Of course babe, no need to ask." He said still holding on my hand.

"Just don't let go okay?" I asked my eyes lids getting heavy.

"I never will princess." He confirmed, I gave him a kiss on the cheek, and laid back and fell asleep.

I woke up when we pulled into Niall's parents house. Memories instantly flooded my mind of all the times that Niall and I spent there. I fixed the seat to it's original position and sat up. I was just about to stretch, but I noticed Niall still had his hand intertwined with mine. I brought our hands up and I kissed the back of his hand. I took a glance at him and he had a smile a mile wide.

"Are you ready to go princess?" He asked me. I nodded my head in agreement. We both climbed out of the car, got our bags, and walked up to the front door. Niall knocked on the door. We heard some bustling around and a slight "coming" from the other side of the door. A few seconds later Niall's mother came and opened up the door.

"Niall my baby!" She cried, embracing Niall into a tight hug.

"I didn't expect to see you until tomorrow!" She said, letting go of him. She welcomed us inside, and we put our bags by the stair well.

"Well mum, I didn't like the way you sounded." He said siting on the couch, patting the spot next to him, motioning for me to sit next to him. I sat down.

"How's my Lyric been?" She chimed.

"I've been great!" I replied. Niall's dad soon came and sat by Niall's mum.

Niall's POV

I wanted to shout about all the exciting news that was swirling in my head. I got up and ran over to mine and Lyric's bags, searching for the ultra sound pictures.

"Mom, dad, there's a couple people lyric and I would like you to meet." I grinned at Lyric, who nodded her head and smiled. I walked back towards my parents.

"Well where are they sweetie?" My mom asked. I looked back at Lyric who has glowing with happiness.

"Oh silly me, they're right here." I said handing my mum and dad the pictures and walked back to Lyric, sat down placing a kiss on her cheek and wrapping my arm around her. I looked back over to my mom and dad. My mum had tears in her eyes, and dad he looked like he wanted to jump out of his chair, and dance out of the living room.

"You mean to tell me that these are my grandbabies?" My mom smiled with tears streaming down her face . Lyric got up and went over and sat next to my mum. She wrapped her arm around her and started to rub her back comfortingly.
