Breathing.
All I could hear was heavy, shallow breathing. Everyone was out of the house. My parents went on a date and my little sister and brother were at my aunts house for the weekend. My heart beat quickened as the loud silence filled my ears and created white noise in my mind. I wasn't thinking. All I could hear was my deep, sleepy breathes escaping my mouth as I say on the floor. There were small wet pools of tears and blood that covered the ground around me. I didn't know where the blood or tears had come from. I looked down at my hands. They were covered in blood and in my left hand there was a small switchblade. The switchblade had "X24" carved into the handle. Images rushed back.

Parents were out. Sibling away. I was alone when he came. He pulled out a switchblade and made small, clean cuts across my cheeks and hands. He was my master. He took it to far. He cut my wrists to deep and I had died. I felt a small tingle of realization. I realized I wasn't sitting. My body was lying on the floor motionless and white. No, no, no! I ca not die! I hovered over my lifeless body as he bent down and tore my barely beating heart and ripped it from my chest. The last image I saw was his face. He was smiling as he bit into my heart and cooing my name as my mind faded into darkness
