Dahlia remained in the spot she had been sitting against for at least thirty minutes. Now that Optimus had explained the situation to them, and they learned about Agent Fowler and his concern regarding how the autobots were handling their missions, the children had been kind of exploring. It seemed that they had gone up to the catwalks to see what were in the old rooms. It seemed there was a bathroom up there, according to Miko, as she had screamed it to everyone. Dahlia wasn't bothered by any of them. Though the bots would look at her with concern every now and then, but it still bothered her.

At this time, Dahlia was thinking about Jack. The scent she caught from him was strange compared to other humans. The scent was strange enough, that she would not likely kill it eat his flesh, was odd for her. Dahlia was trying to figure out why this was the case. It was way too strange for it to be the case. Though the only way to know is to think back to her past. Dahlia didn't want to do that, as thinking about her past was too much. Even if it might hold the answers.

At the same time, Dahlia was thinking of a plan on how to get out of the base. She did not know if there were hidden places that lead out of the base, but she would have to explore to find out. But she did not know if she should try to look around. She didn't want to cause them to be more suspicious of her than they already were. Though they were looking at her with worry and pity, she hated it. She didn't want their pity.

We are getting angry. We don't like them looking at us like that.

I know, Beast. I don't like it either. But they aren't actually hurting us.

Not yet, they're not.

To be though, they were surprised when we asked what they plan to do next. They looked at us like we were crazy.

We did notice that too. But we still do not trust them.

I am not sure if we have much of a choice but give them one chance.

One chance is all they get.

Agreed.

"Dahlia." The girl jumped and looked up to see Jack leaning on a railing, looking down at her curiously. "Is it okay if I ask questions? I know you are a little agitated, but I am kind of curious about you." She frowned at him, not knowing if she did want him to ask questions. "I promise I won't ask about anything...regarding the scars on your body."

"Why not?"

"Well, you seem to go quiet and I could tell that whenever someone speaks of it, you seem to get upset. And to be fair, I don't blame you." Dahlia looked away from him, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths. "I don't know what has happened to you. And I think you should tell us only if you feel comfortable. You don't trust us, and you know what? I think that is okay." Dahlia opened her eyes and looked at him with a surprised, curious expression. "You've been through something horrible, which I have already made an assumption on, and your valid fear and mistrust is something that I think is acceptable. I could say that I am sorry for what happened, but I know it won't change it."

Dahlia stared at Jack curiously, not knowing why he was saying what he was saying. "I do not understand why you are trying to be kind. I attacked you." Jack grimaced and shrugged, even though he was still hurting from the impact on the ground. "You shouldn't want to talk to me." Dahlia sighed as she glanced away. "I am...a monster because they made me one."

"They?"

Dahlia nodded and hugged her legs tighter. "I don't like questions. Please stop asking question. You are making her mad."

Jack frowned in confusion for a moment and he was about to ask what she meant by her when they all heard a strange alert coming from the console. Jack turned and walked over to see something appeared on one of the screens, and Dahlia was glad that he had finally left her alone. She really did not want them to be bothering her, because she was getting more agitated, and she needed to concentrate on keeping Beast calm, so she would not lose control.
