FAUNA had many choices of what she would like to do with the key. Pero ang mas nanaig sa kanya ay iyong bilhan ito ng antique chest box. She just customized the appearance of the box by painting it with flowers and plant patterns to make it girly one.

Nilagyan niya ito ng cloth and rose petals. Then, she slowly placed the key at the top. She smiled with satisfaction. Then, she closed the box and locked it.

"Ma'am Fauna," she heard from outside her room. It was Ate Nelly, one of their maids. She made two knocks. "Tinatawag ka ng Daddy at Mommy mo."

"Opo!"

The day was Monday after the long weekend of her birthday party. Naka-pajama at oversize t-shirt na siya, ready for her reading session, study session, and research session. Pero dahil tinawag siya ng kanyang mga magulang, lumabas muna siya para harapin ang mga ito.

Minsan lang nakakauwi ang dalawa kaya parati siyang na-e-excite kapag nasa bahay ito.

She sighed and slowly made her way towards them.

Fauna's heart lighted up. Hindi niya ito inaasahan kaya naiiyak siya. She smiled widely and nodded. "Hindi na naman po kailangan. The party was enough...everything happened the last weekend was enough."

"It's okay, Fauna. Gusto lang din namin ng Daddy mo makapag-relax."

"Kasama po si Kuya?" she was excited.

"My consultations daw ang Kuya mo. Pero kapag hindi matutuloy ay susubukan niyang humabol."

"Okay!" she was too happy. Tumabi siya sa kanyang Daddy para humarap sa kanilang bisita na muntikan na niyang makalimutan na nandoon pala.

"Emerald is here to give her gift for you," si Mommy kaya kumurap agad siya sa gulat. Natawa lang si Emerald at inusog iyong isang green box na nasa center table.

"Happy birthday, Fauna. Hahabol sana ako sa birthday mo, but something came up kaya hindi na ako sumama kay Dash. Thank goodness he made the night."

"Sana hindi ka na lang po nag-abala," nahihiya niyang sabi. Hindi na sana naisip ang kanyang paghalik ni Dash kaso naisip niya na naman dahil bigla siyang na-guilty. "But thank you so much po."

"And they are here for their wedding!" excited na sabi ni Mommy. Emerald blushed because of that. Agad siyang napatingin kay Dash na nakatitig sa kanya. That broke her heart. The happiness she had felt instantly got killed in the battle.

The light she had witnessed a while ago had gone totally. But he smiled, iyong hindi na naman umabot sa mata.

"They are here to formally ask us to be their ninang at ninong." Si Mommy pa rin na mas excited pa sa lahat. "I'm so sorry if I am happy, but to witness people marry because they are in love is something to be happy about. Right, Fred?"
