Gunil entered the diner with an exhausted sigh, marching up to the counter to stand beside a younger male who was dressed in quite an interesting outfit. 'He must be goth,' Gunil thought to himself, looking at his own boring old sweater vest.

The woman behind the counter finally emerged from the kitchen, both boys eager to place their order. "Cherry cola," They both blurted simultaneously.

The cashier looked at them apologetically before speaking. "We've only got enough for one but supplies come in tomorrow," She explained as they both sighed softly.

"Well, we can share..?" Gunil suddenly thought to offer as a solution to this issue.

Seungmin didn't see why not. It was just a soda and there was nothing off putting about this older gentleman.

As dark as he was dressed, Seungmin was incredibly shy, nodding shyly in answer. "Sure.." He muttered in agreement, handing over the money for the drink.

Gunil sighed softly and took the cup with the two straws once the cashier handed it to them, leading Seungmin to his favorite booth. "Next time I pay," Gunil commented with a warm smile.

Seungmin slowly started to feel more comfortable after seeing the smile the older gave him. "Got it.. uh.." He spoke timidly, realizing he had no idea what the other's name was. "Gunil." Gunil quickly clarified with a small nod.

"Seungmin," Seungmin introduced himself as well with a shy nod.

Gunil nodded at him with a smile remaining on his lips as he started to sip the soda. "So, are you goth?" Gunil asked curiously, seeing no harm in his question.

Seungmin chuckled softly and just nodded at him. "Trad goth today, tomorrow, who knows?" He giggled, shrugging a bit before leaning forward to sip the soda.

"That's so interesting," Gunil commented with pure allure in his eyes, finding it so intriguing. "I just dress boring all the time," He joked softly, gaining a small laugh from the boy.

They continued to converse as they shared this glass of cherry cola, all the stress they felt throughout the day had felt like it melted away. Soon enough they found themselves at the bottom of the glass, nothing but two straws and a small ring of liquid at the bottom of the cup left.

"I enjoyed talking to you," Seungmin admitted with a shy smile, clasping his hands together. "Well, we can always talk again," Gunil assured, smiling widely as he scribbled his number down onto a napkin before sliding it over to Seungmin.

The boy happily took the napkin, staring at the numbers excitedly. He had never had many friends before so he was ecstatic to have made one.
