He was mysterious. I liked that. And that was the beginning of my adventure some people call falling in love.
We met in school. We had so many classes together. It just seemed so perfect, because at the time, it was. It wasn't like most love stories though. We talked for a while in school. Then I realized, this boy had my heart. So I did something about it. I'm not one of the girls who waits around for the person she likes to ask her out. If we spent our lives waiting on boys, we would be waiting forever. I took a long time and thought hard about what I was doing. The next day, I put the note in his locker. I remember being so happy, I ran up to her, my best friend, and I said "he said yes!" I wasn't the only happy one.
The first couple of months went smoothly, school dances, and late night texting, nothing unusual. He seemed like he really cared. After a few months I started to really like him. Then I gathered up all of my courage, and I said it, "I love you." Just like that, it felt like after I said it, everyone knew, everyone could tell.
