VIVAAN
You did so wrong Aisha. You should have informed me before leaving alone from the house. You should have!
Flashback:
I had no extra work today, so here I was, driving myself to my home as I was quite eager to meet my wife and surprise her.
I parked my car and entered my home. I looked around but my eyes weren't able to trace my wife.
But to my surprise, mom and dad were only present in the dining hall and Rani was serving dinner to them.
I kept my bag aside and went near mom.
She smiled and asked me to sit along with them.
I happily sat.
Rani served me dinner.
I ate my first bite and asked my mom,
"Mom, Aisha had her dinner already?"
"No beta. I forgot to mention, she has went to meet her friend.. some... pri.. pri something like that."
"Priyanka." I spoke.
"Yes, Priyanka. She has went to meet her. Some two and half hours ago."
I inhaled a deep breathe in. It had turned dark outside.
"Do you have any idea where they would be?" I spoke politely.
"Um- Cafe Ivy! I guess! She must be on her way home, don't worry," Mom replied.
"Which driver is with her?" I enquired so that I could call him and ask about their whereabouts.
"She has took a cab. Driver's is on leave na," Mom replied and my blood boiled instantly.
I stood up from my place and muttered, "I'm done."
"But beta, you haven't eaten anything," Mom interrupted.
"No mom. I don't have an appetite. I already had some snacks in my office before leaving," I lied and she nodded her head and replied,
"If you're worried about Aisha, please don't be. She must be on her way and will reach home anytime soon."
I left from there towards my room.
I shut the door behind me with a loud thud and switched off the lights.I sat on the sofa and was waiting for her to arrive. How can she leave alone?
Doesn't she has the slightest idea what happened with her when she was - I clearly don't want to remember that incident.
My legs were shaking. Anxiety, nervous, anger, fear- everything was hitting me all at once. Wrong thoughts were hitting my mind again and again. The memories of that night were flushing infront of my eyes no matter how hard I was trying to push them away.
How can she not inform me? I would have taken her wherever she would have wished to go. Or she should have postponed if the driver wasn't there. Fuck.
Present:
"Please na," she muttered and I was hell bent on that I'll not talk to her today.
What if something would have happened to her?
"Vivaan, just for once," she begged.
My eyes were still closed.
But my heart rate intensified even more when I heard her shaky, trembling voice and slow sobs leaving from her mouth.
I opened my eyes and turned back to face her immediately.
Her eyes were wet. Tears were rolling down from her eyes and she somehow spoke,
