We got back to the Underground hideout and showed everyone the loot we got, "Where did you guys get all of this?" Hope said. "We looted the vault!" I smiled proudly.
"You did WHAT!?!" Hope quickly grabs Jonesy and pulled him aside into a different room. I sneaked over to the door to listen on their conversation.
"Why would you let Antonia loot the vault, you know it's dangerous, she could've got hurt!" Hope said angrily to Jonesy.
Just as Jonesy was about to explain himself I bust through the door "Why are you so over protective? I can take care of myself" I roll my eyes.
Hope walks over to me she looks me in the eyes and softly says "Because I care about you Antonia I couldnt imagine what i would do if you got hurt".
I sigh "Hopey you can trust me" I put my hand on her shoulder "Cmon let's go look at the loot!"
I grab her hand and lead her to the rest of the group, I grab a big shield and drink it, "I really needed this...the guards almost got me!" I laugh.
I look over at Hope as her smile fades "Take a chill pill, it was just a joke Hopey". In a serious tone hope says "That's not funny" she rolls her eyes.
*Fast forward a couple hours later*
We were all chilling and all of a sudden Dara suggests that we should all visit the Pleasant Piazza beach, we all think it's a fun idea.
We pack a couple of things before heading out. "Ima go on my hoverboard i'll met you guys there" I say grabbing my bag "I'll go on my motorcycle" Hope says.
"Ok yall all of us are going in the Jeep" Jonesy says. Me and hope wave them off, I get on my hoverboard as hope also gets on her motorcycle.
We both go separate ways, I start doing tricks on my hoverboard on my way there!
I finally get there and I see the group, some playing soccer and some in the water. I look around for Hope and I see her sitting under a tree, I walk over to her and sit down next to her.
"What are you doing all alone?" I ask facing her, while she facing straight. "Just thinking" she boringly says "What you thinking about?" I ask her still staring at her.
"You" she quickly responds. I get flustered by her words "What do you mean by that?" she finally turns to me "How you and Jonesy went down to the vault".
"Why do you care so much about that, I'm fine" I tell her. "You're so important to me I can't lose you..not now, Antonia" Hope said staring into my eyes as she slowly leans closer pressing her lips onto mine.
She kissed me passionately and I found myself leaning in and kissing her back. I finally break the kiss and stare at her in shock "Antonia-" then a voice cuts her off.
"Cmon guys in the water, stop being so boring!" Dara yells. I quickly get up "I'm coming" I yell back, I look back at hope as she still sitting down processing what happen. "Are you coming?" I ask her.
"I'll be right there" in a deep tone, I tried to have fun with the others but I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss with Hope.
Hope was acting like nothing had happened. A few hours go by and it was time for us to get back home.
I hop on my hoverboard and I see hope and peely laughing with each other.
I got back to the Underground and took a quick shower, I step out and wrap a towel around my body and open the door and I see hope standing there.
"AGHH!! Hope, you scared me. What are you doing here?". "We need to talk" she said seriously "Like now??" I say embarrassed and squeezing the towel, Hope looks me up and down, she turns her head away.
"Never mind...Put some clothes on first and then meet me in my room" she says still not looking at me.
She walks away and close the door behind her. I put on a tank top and pajama shorts and head over to hopes door.
Hope's POV: I don't know why I leaned in and kissed her , she's my best friend and why did I like it?! I can't tell Antonia how I really feel about the kiss, knocking interrupts my thinking. "Hello? it's me Hope" I turn around to Antonia and I was stunned by her beauty.
She was wearing a white tank top which was see through because it was soaked by her wet hair, I blush and turn around and I spoke
Back to Antonia's POV "I think it was a mistake" Hope says with her back turned to me. I was taken back by her words "I don't know why I kissed, your my best friend. Antonia, I'm sorry" she said sounding embarrassed.
"Hopey don't be sorry it takes two to kiss..I agree it was a mistake."
I walk closer to her and put my hand on her shoulder, she turns around "Bestfriends?" I say softly to her.
She sighs "Yeah, Bestfriends" she gives me a half smile and I give her a big hug.
