Candy's POV

'Where'd you get the bruises' Great now he chooses to ask *sigh*...

'Umm I fell ' I say looking him dead in the eyes he was quite for a minute sending glares my way before speaking ' so you expect me to believe you got all those bruises from a fall'

'I dont expect anything from you Nicolai as you said before why should you care for me I can take care of my own' hes face was stoney no emotions showing at all he stood there for a few seconds before abruptly leaving the bathroom.

Now that I was alone I took off the dress I was wearing cleaning out my stab wounds and stitching them up. After having a shower and brushing my teeth I go back to my room to try sleep but I had no luck whatsoever, closing my eyes I try to force myself to sleep but all I could think about was how close Nicolai was before, how his hazel eyes seemed to have a hint of gray in them and his intoxicating sm-

My eyes shoot open before I can finish that sentence 'what in the actual hell' I say to myself that's was weird, I look over to the clock besides me 'four a.m guess I'm not getting any sleep' walking over to the bathroom I brush my teeth and head over to the gym.

After a whole training session I make my way out of the gym where I happen to run into Nicolai, I was about to apologize for being rude yesterday but he just passed by me as if I don't exist not that I care or anything.

Making my way to the kitchen I find Olivia already making breakfast 'good morning Olivia' I say happily she greets me back and asks me if I was ohk how I got the bruises but I just played it off like yesterday. I was so concentrated on eating that I didn't notice Nicolai walking in and taking a seat at the table.

'We are getting married next week' those words caught me off guard I almost choked on my pancakes 'WHAT!!! ' he looks at me with farrowed eye brows 'sorry what next week I thought we had to wait for a few months'

'Pick out your dress today ' he says dryly totally ignoring my question, I wasn't ready to get married but technically I'm not getting married Pearl is... Yeh I'm just filling in for a while it's totally ohk

After I freacked out during breakfast Olivia and I went dress shopping, it took a lot longer than I thought but I found the perfect dress it, it was a off the shoulder type with a low neckline instead of those ones that go all the way down it ended above my knees and had a train behind.

Since we had already came shopping we decided that it wouldn't hurt anyone to buy a few clothes and even though Nicolai said I should use his card I didn't it feels weird using someone else's money.

After a long day of shopping Olivia and I went back home and prepared dinner, we chatted about how her and Luke met and how they fell inlove. I felt as though I had some to confide in almost like a mother figure to me.' That's how I ended up loving him' her words pulled me back to reality and I couldn't help but smile at how they loved each other unlike the two people marrying next week...

'I can't believe your finally getting married ' that ladies and gentlemen is the voice of my "mother " she could be a actress if she wasn't such a pain in the ass, but as expected the moment everyone left us alone she was back to being the wicked witch of the South.

'Look have you found your daughter yet I'm tired of playing Barbie' I deadpan she gives me an unimpressed look 'do you think you would be marrying him if we had found her? '

'Look let's just get this over with ohk' I was about to leave when I remember something ' did your daughter ever do anything to Nicolai or something' my question seemed to catch Mrs Smith off guard 'w-what are you talking about don't make assumptions on my daughter' Something was fishy and I'm not talking about the sushi bar.

Finally the wedding was over and I could go back to my bed and sleep is what I was expecting to do but Nicolai seemed to think other wise. 'Look my aunt and uncle are coming over tomorrow so I need you to move your shit to my room'

'Why exactly should I ' ohk honestly Im tired so thinking at this point wasn't a option so I just stare at him waiting for his reply but all I got were glares does this man do anything other than glare oh right he scoffs and rolls his eyes.

'Look this is a contract sign it, first in front of other people we pretend to be a happy married couple things like hugging, holding hands are part of it kisses are off limits unless needed second when there is no one around we stay strangers don't talk, touch or try anything of sorts on me clear'

I simply nod my head and sign the papers at that point I was half asleep and barely heard what he said but I didn't care, 'can I go know ' he looks at me then nods his head.
