Poppy Rowan, an autistic teenage girl living in the small town of Little Idleweed, Vermont in 1965, was not your average high school student. Poppy held a unique role as a disc jockey at the local carrier current radio station, WRHS 1020 AM. This radio station was owned by her high school, Rainbow High, making Poppy wasn't the only student to have such a responsibility, as there are a few other staffers. But that wasn't the only thing that made her stand out in her community. Poppy also had a voice that could bring tears to your eyes; she sang like an angel. Poppy has hearing sensitive, which means She can't be seen without her headphones.

Born and raised in Northcross, Poppy was the only child of her doting parents. They showered her with love and affection, making up for the fact that she didn't have any siblings. One of Poppy's closest companions was her beloved kitty, Ellie, who stayed at home except for her vet appointments. Poppy's parents often joked that Ellie was her little guardian angel, always by her side.

With her vibrant orange hair, cute freckles, and her love for butterflies, Poppy had a unique and charming appearance. She often incorporated her butterfly theme into her wardrobe, adorning her clothes with butterfly patches and pins. And one of her prized possessions was a long white nightgown, embroidered with images of butterflies fluttering around. She loved wearing it to bed, feeling like a fairy princess as she fell asleep.

Speaking of sleep, Poppy had a strict bedtime of 7:30 pm. Her parents insisted that she needed enough rest, especially on school nights. But unlike most teenagers who would resist such a rule, Poppy didn't mind. In fact, she looked forward to her bedtime routine. Every night, her parents would tuck her in, and her mother would play Brahms Lullaby in the key of G on the piano, lulling her to sleep with its soothing melody. It was a tradition that had been passed down in her family for generations, and Poppy cherished it.

Northcross was a quaint little town, not too far from the border of Cherry, Quebec. Poppy had only been to Quebec once with her parents, but she dreamed of visiting again someday. And in her dreams, that's where she found herself transported to; a land filled with magic and wonder. In her dreams, she was no longer Poppy Rowan, but an angel with a shining halo and beautiful wings.

Despite her young age, Poppy had a mature and responsible attitude. She took her role as a disc jockey seriously, carefully selecting and playing songs that she knew her listeners would enjoy. She was also a star student at Rainbow High, excelling in both academics and extracurricular activities. But most importantly, Poppy had a kind and compassionate heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In a world full of chaos and turmoil, Poppy brought joy and comfort to those around her, whether it was through her enchanting voice or her caring nature. Poppy Rowan may have been just a teenage girl in the eyes of others, but to those who knew her, she was an angel in disguise, spreading love and hope wherever she went, especially when she's playing her acoustic guitar.

But Poppy Rowan isn't the only one who is an angel in her dreams when she falls asleep? Let's meet Poppy's friends.

Bella Parker is a bright and creative young girl, always lost in her own world of imagination. She lives with her parents in a quaint house on the outskirts of the town, and it is rumored that she may not have any siblings. Her parents are kind and loving, but also strict, making sure to instill good values and a strong work ethic in their daughter.
