Jennie stirred as she her alarm began to ring on the nightstand beside her.
She groaned, reaching over to shut it off and sighing pleasantly as she snuggled further into her pillow, the warmth a solace from the chilly aircon that cooled her room.
She always slept with her room set at a freezing temperature, as the feeling of snuggling into warmth through her duvet was the most comforting thing in the world.
And right now? She would rather die than get up.
Of course, that could never happen as within a minute her phone rang again, as she shut it off once more, following her morning routine.
Jennie was the farthest thing from a morning person. It took a grand total of twenty alarms to wake her up every morning.
However, this morning proved to be different.
This morning was different because her pillow, her warm snuggly heavenly pillow, that smelled the faintest of lavender and musk, began to move as well.
This was when Jennie knew that something was different, but in classic morning grouch Jennie fashion, she could bring herself to care as she tightened her hold against her pillow, slinging her leg over to really ensure it wouldn't be going anywhere.
And that was when a deep throaty chuckle erupted from right beside her, as she felt a hand on her waist slightly move, fingers grazing over the skin of her stomach.
"I'm not going anywhere princess, you can relax." A voice, intoxicatingly deep, breathed out from beside as as Jennie tensed for a moment.
She knew that intoxicatingly deep voice.
She knew it all too well.
"....Taehyung?" She softly whispered, not looking up to avoid confronting the reality that she was currently bear hugging the man at that moment.
"Expecting someone else?" She heard him retort, knowing he was smirking already despite her not catching his face.
Before she could even formulate a reply, the alarm began ringing for a third time. Only this time, she couldn't bring herself to reach over and shut it off.
Taehyung, without a hint of hesitation, reached over Jennie to silence the alarm for her.
His arm briefly encased her in an even warmer embrace, a simple act that somehow made her heart flutter uncontrollably. "You really need to change that ringtone, it's horrendous," he murmured, amusement lacing his voice.
Jennie, finally mustering the courage, turned to face him, her eyes meeting his.
They were filled with a playful glint that she found both infuriating and endearing. "And let you choose something? No way, you'd pick something unbearable," she countered, trying to ignore how close he was.
