It was already dark outside the castle and the moon and stars reflected on the glistening water of the Black Lake. Luna and I walked through the corridor that leads to the Astronomy Tower. My eyes could not stop gazing at the paintings, whose muses were asleep, oblivious of what had been going on through this corridor.
We stopped by on an empty corridor after taking the stairs. There was a tapestry behind us as we faced the wall that had no paintings or decorations attached to it. This led me to curiosity. Why would the party be here if there was no door? How is it that a party would be held here? It looked rather like it wouldn't fit here.
But all that answered when a door appeared in front of us.
The Room of Requirements. It was the room that Mama had told me about. Such a fascinating thing to witness — the door appearing in front of one's eyes.
Luna knocked on the door and there it opened, with a dark-skinned boy peeking through the small gap of the door.
"Password?" The boy smirked. Though he was eyeing on me.
"Veneficus," Luna answered, wondering as to why this man looked intrigued.
"Are you the new 7th year?" He asked, opening the door widely and leaning against the door frame, with his arms crossed on his chest. I didn't like the way he ignored Luna when she told him the password.
"Yes," I replied, looking rather curious. "Was something the matter?"
"Leave her alone, Zabini." Hermione was behind him, with her eyes shooting daggers at this man. "She's not interested in you." Then there she pulled us inside, ignoring the man named Blaise, and took us to their table.

— Draco's POV —
The loud music filled my ears as I drank the remaining fire whiskey in my glass. The lights switched to different colours along with every beat of the music. 6th-year transferees were worried that the music would be heard outside even though old students assured them that they had cast a silencing charm in this room. I wasn't supposed to be attending. It wasn't my decision to attend and yet here I am, pouring myself another glass of fire whiskey at our table and torturing myself by hearing Theo's and Adrian's jokes that don't seem to impress the girls they have taken here to this table.
"The new 7th year is finally here?" Pansy sounded amused as her eyes gleamed whilst staring at the new student entering the room with Granger and Lovegood.
My eyes were stuck on her again. It's like someone had cast a spell on me to lock my eyes on her.
Never did I think she would come. She looked rather like a person who doesn't attend parties, such as this. Parties that are somehow that don't possess elegance for a girl like her.
