Danny was running down the street, hoping he won't get soaking wet by the time he gets to Jorel's place.
Rain was pouring, everyone was running for cover. Usually, this time of year it's sunny, but a quick shower hit the city right now.
Danny was covering a box with his jacket, afraid that it will get wet. He stopped by a shop, to buy a few more things. He got some chips, a few beers, and a big bow, to put on the box, because it was supposed to be a present.
The clouds were starting to clear up, but Danny still didn't want to risk getting the box wet, so he dashed across the street, three bloks straight, til he reached Jorel's apartment.
He rang the doorbell, and when JDog opened the door, he jumped into his arms, screaming "Happy birthday!!!"
Danny got invited in. He put the food and drinks on the table and handed the present to Jorel with a huge smile on his face: "I hope you like it".
The Italian smiled in excitement, and couldn't wait to rip it open. He took the lid off, and there was a little bag on top. He took it out and reached inside to pull out something that was all bundled up. "A leash?" he gave Danny a confused look.
"Yeah, it's for your cat! Its a gift for you, as well as your kitty!" Danny replied with an adorable smile.
Jorel laughed at the silly gift, but thanked Danny for it anyway. Then he moved the wrapping paper aside, to see that there's something else on the bottom of the box.
The singer could hardly keep back his giggling, he couldn't wait to see Jorel's reaction. The Italian took it out and removed the rest of the wrappers. He stood in shock at what was in his hands. A brand new laptop he has been wanting for months!
"Happy birthday, J-puppy!" Danny looked at him, knowing that he's happily surprised.
JDog's eyes lit up and he almost screamed like a little girl, but withheld the urge and just hugged Danny tightly.
"Aaw Danny, you're so thoughtful!" he nuzzled to the Costa Rican's neck.
"I know you've never managed to save up money for it, so I thought you might like it.. I already downloaded a few video games for you! Aaanndd..it's specially designed for producing music. The guy at the store said that famous DJs like Tiësto and Calvin Harris use this kind of equipment!"
Jorel hugged him a little while longer, so happy and thankful for the gift. Then he realized it must've cost so much for Danny, but the singer told him not to worry about it, it is a gift after all...
The birthday boy grabbed a bowl for the chips and they cracked open the beer cans. They were sitting on the couch, ready to watch a movie, when George called. He told Jorel to meet him and the other guys at 7, on the corner of his street.
"Oh, and wear something nice!" George chuckled before he hung up.
"Danny, you have any idea what they have planned for tonight?" JDog poked the brunette's side, knowing that he is ticklish there.
"It's a surprise, Jay! We still have time before you have to get ready, so start the movie!"
Jorel hit 'play' and leaned back against the couch, eating the chips.
"Hey, gimme some of that! I was the one who bought it" the frontman whined and reached over to grab some chips, but JDog pulled the bowl away and Danny fell in his lap. So he moved around, trying to find a comfortable spot, and kept his head in Jay's lap.
"Feed me now." he commanded.
"I'm not your servant" Jay retorted as he put a chip into Daniel's mouth.
"Well you could be.." he looked up at the pianist.
"Shut up" Jay said in a friendly tone, and ruffled his friend's hair.. "I'm not feeding you anymore, you're gonna get even fatter"
Danny rolled his eyes at the comment, to which JDog said "You know I love you Dannyboy" and gave him another chip.
He stayed in the Italian's lap throughout the whole movie, before they started to get ready to go out and party with the others.
