There is a new family moving in next door to me. They seem like a very happy family. They are all matching and seem like a picture-perfect family. The parents look young and healthy. The kids look to be between the ages of 10-16. I dont know their names yet. I have an off feeling about them. "Crystal!" My mom yelled. "Yes, mom!" I yell back. Oh, I guess I didn't introduce myself. My name is Crystal Edward's, and no, I'm not a vampire. I am a high school student. I am at the top of my class. I am 16, but there is a secret I have that my mom won't let me tell anyone in the neighborhood. I'm gay or the proper term is lesbian. My mom has this thing where she except me but wants to have it seem like we are the perfect straight family. But anyways, that's enough about me. My mom wanted us to make cookies for the new neighbors. So baked them a pretty large amount of cookies because you never know. I also put all the ingredients that they might be allergic to on top of the container. I then made myself look not too nice but presentable. I made sure to put my "straight girl" vibes on. Lol, I'm such a jokester. I nervously knocked on the door. I am waiting for about 30 seconds, and then the oldest daughter, who is guessing, is about 16 answers the door. "Oh, hello, my name is Crystal! I live next door. I made these cookies as a welcome to the neighborhood! I put all the things you guys could possibly be allergic to on top, just in case." I said, and she just smiled at me the whole time I'm talking. "Well, thank you, Crystal. My name is Luna. Also, I can tell you're not straight. Your posture, the way you talk, your bracelet, and your shoes." As she explained everything about me, my jaw dropped. She can read me like a book. "Well, at least I can be myself around someone. My mom makes me act straight outside of the house." I said while looking down at my bracelet. "I can tell." She said in a low tone. Something about that tone sent chills up my spine. "I'm also not straight. I am as gay as they come." We giggled. "Well, I should probably let you get back to unpacking." I said, trying to leave. "Oh, why don't you come in. I'm sure my parents would love to meet you!" Luna said, and I felt quite excited. "Sure, why not!" I said as Luna let me inside. Holy shit! This house was bigger than I thought. Yes, we are in a rich neighborhood, but this room is about the size of 3 in my house. I stared in awe. "Hello Hun how may we help you?" Her mom said. I held out my hand. "My name is Crystal. I live next door and I brought cookies as a welcome gift! I put anything you all might be allergic to on top, just in case! I don't want to be the reason someone ends up in the hospital." I said very nervously. Her mom shocked my hand. HER HANDS WERE SO SOFT!!! "Well, it's nice to meet you, Crystal. My name is Linda. My husband's name is Mark. I see you met my star Luna. She does have younger siblings they are running around here somewhere. But they will love these cookies." She smiled, but it wasn't like 'I'm nice' smile. It was more like 'you are in danger' smile. "Well, it was nice meeting you all. If you ever need anything, I'm right next door." I said as I left. I ran back home. "Mom! Those people are scary!" I said as soon as I saw my mom. "I know that's why i had you go over there. They don't really like me." She said. "The moms name is Linda, her husband is Mark, and their oldest daughter is Luna. I didn't get to meet the other kids." I said in a soft but still scared tone. "Oh, that's nice. Well, how about you help me make dinner?" She asked me and titled her head. I helped my mom make dinner. It was nice being an only child at times like these.  We then sat down and had dinner. We then got ready for our Saturday movie nights. I loved Saturdays. They were always my favorite. Even when I'm sick, we still do our movie nights. Nothing has ever stopped them. Nothing ever will.
