The story of Midnight and Summer

Chapter 1 Moonlight and powers

Kittens playing; so cute! They were just learning to climb and play fight at this point. Again so cute!

As the two Alakittens climbed out of their baskets onto the marble floor beneath, the moonlight pranced across their paws. They crept up the stairs to the moon gazing tower and the moonlight fell across their faces. They had reached the top. Princess Midnight ,an *Alakitty with glossy dark fur a nervous nature and a sleek body and Princess Summer an *Alakitty with tabby patterned fur and a sweet face, and mischievous eyes  were practicing their magic one night as young Alakittens, with powers that include telekinesis and weather powers. Princess Summer was trying to levitate a ball of yarn and instead of making the ball move, when she said the magic word and concentrated she made the sun come up 5 hours too early!! Midnight demanded "Sis, make the moon come back up!!!!"and Summer replied after trying that "Sis, I can't ! It appears I only have power over the  sun, not the  moon.''But, when Midnight tried, the moon came back up. Summer  said"Why don't we play with this new power(:"When Luna, their mother came out of her basket yawning and wings stretching she gasped when she saw her two Alakittys playing with the sun and moon. Right away she took them to the local healer, a dragon named Ember with healing fire she used to help others. As they flew, the kits complained about the long flight, and  eventually Luna started to carry Summer in her mouth for Summer was cold, and with her powers for Midnight .   When they arrived, the kits ran over to the window to play,after having dried them all of with her fire,Ember said "My oh my what a thing it is, but I can tell you what is happening.An Alacat's magic as they grow into it it will show in their hair.This is true of every Alacat. The Plantacat, Unicats, and Pegacats are not as lucky to have an extra marker.You are royal are you not?" Luna replied"Yes" Ember then said "Then you are descended directly from the first Alacat. Your kits are powerful indeed and need training. I can take care of that all for you in return for one thing. 5 pieces of gold."Luna outstretched a paw with five a'piece. Ember looked down at it and purred in pleasure. "Thank you for the generosity, Queen Luna" "Anything for my kits' ' she purred. Ember asked,"Can your kits yet fly?"Luna replied "They can flap but they can not soar." Ember said "then I will train them in that, too.
