Sophia slowly opened her eyes and noticed the sun peeking through the window blinds, signaling the start of a new day. She looked at her husband, who was still sound asleep and decided not to disturb him. She sat up, stretched her arms, and felt the sun's warmth on her skin. She got out of bed and walked to her closet, scanning through the clothes until she found a light pink dress and tan tights that she thought would be perfect for the day. She then walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower, feeling the warm water cascade down her body. She washed her strawberry blonde hair and slim body, taking her time to relax and enjoy the moment. After drying herself off, she returned to her closet and accessorized her outfit with a matching necklace and earrings. Finally satisfied with her look, she walked out of the closet and looked at her husband, who was stirring awake.

"Good morning Love."

"Good Morning." He looks at her outfit. "You look pretty babe."

"Thanks! What do you want for breakfast?"

"Anything you'd want. I know it's our special day so you can choose."

"Ok! You're going to choose lunch, you know that rule," She says beaming at him.

"Haha, I know!" He starts getting out of bed as she leaves the room.

She heads into their white and gray decently sized kitchen to cook some food.

With her left hand, she reaches for a gleaming circular pan that rests on the stovetop. As the heat from the range rises, she pours the pancake batter onto the pan, watching as it spreads out into a perfect circular shape. The aroma of the cooking pancakes fills the room, and the sizzling sound of the batter hitting the hot pan is music to her ears. With a spatula, she deftly flips the pancake over, revealing its golden-brown surface. She repeats the process until a stack of delicious pancakes is ready. She walks towards the fridge and scans the shelves until she sees the egg carton. She carefully lifts it from its spot, feeling the coolness of the container against her fingertips. After setting it down on the counter, she reached in and retrieved four eggs, then walked over to the pan to cook them. As the savory aroma of the eggs filled the air, her husband emerged from their bedroom, dressed in a sleek gray pullover and black dress pants. His hair was perfectly styled, combed back precisely, and his light brown eyes sparkled under the kitchen lights.

"Well don't you look handsome," She says as she quickly slides two eggs on each of their plates with three pancakes each. She carries them to the white dining table and they sit across from each other and begin to eat.

"Ha! Thanks love," he says as he finishes eating an egg. "Are you excited for our big today?"

"I never thought I would make it this far with someone, so yes, I'm excited and nervous!" She exclaimed as she finished her second pancake and set her fork on the plate. "I'm excited to spend my life raising a family with you."
