February 26th 1971, for most people a normal winter day like any other. But not in the Black household. At 9:56 am cries were heard from the master bedroom, where the midwife voice would be heard moments later. "She's a girl!". She looked with excitement at the parents of this new baby, and watched closely at their faces. The mother, Walburga looked relieved, as she just wanted this to be done with. Then she shifted her gaze at the father, Orion, who seemed disgusted and shocked at the words she had just said. What she noticed next, were two little heads poking out of the doorframe, and then ran with a mischievous look.

One was bigger than the other, had long luscious black hair with gray eyes, the other a tad smaller, with the same black hair only shorter, and green emerald eyes. While she attended the newborn she noticed the similarity with her and the two boys. She noticed that although she was a newborn, she had already developed a significant amount of black curly hair, almost afro-like. Although, she appeared to have blue eyes.

"What do you mean she's a girl?" screamed with anger the father of the girl.

"It appears to me she's a girl, cant you see?" said one of the nurses working n the little girl.

"I don't understand. We come from a family with a very distinct lineage of men. It is impossible for it to be a girl!" the father screamed again, while the mother gave the nurses looks of approval

"You know there could be exceptions. It does not mean that it is guaranteed for her to be a boy. Would you like to cut the umbilical chord?" she asked Orion

"I won't be cutting neither touching that digusting thing" he said with a despective look at the baby and the nurse.

The midwife started to work on the mother. She looked emotionless. Most mothers want to care to the baby almost immediately, even cry during birth, but she just wanted to get this over with. As the midwife couldn't help but notice, this was definitely and accidental pregnancy. When she had previously looked at the two sons, the youngest must have had at least 9 years old and the oldest at least ten, and they didnt seem to have any more children, at least when looking at the wider picture.

"Kreacher! Kreacher!" started yelling the mother,  almost desperately.

A house elf came running, to attend the mother. "Yes mistress?"

"What are the children doing?" she asked. The midwife was almost hopeful that she was at least a good mother to her two sons

"They are in the kitchen, mistress" responded the elf. "They are being served breakfast at this moment"

"Good. Let them eat because they will have to help me with the baby in about 15 minutes" she responded "Thell them to be snappy, I am really not in the mood to wait. And you, bring me a cigarette" she told him as he hurried away to the kitchens.

A few moments later, one of the nurses handed the baby to the mother, dressed and prepped. "Here she is"

"So I guess we dont need assistance from you anymore, tell kreacher to show you to the door. Goodbye" the father said while hurrying them out the bedroom door and shutting it behind them.

After the medical staff left, the two boys were called to the master bedroom.

"Children, this is your sister" said Walburga, still looking emotionless.

The two boys gazed at the little girl. Sirius, the oldest, gazed at her as she was a pile of gold. For him, she was priceless. Regulus the youngest, gazed at her almost the same way, but with a look of fear in his face. He couldn't help but feel sorry for the baby. Why did she have to be born in this household, out of many in the world? Why did she, this fragile and tiny baby have to endure pain and suffering as they did? Wasn't it enough for the both of them?

"Father, may I ask her name?" asked Sirius with curiosity. He knew that his family had a tradition of naming the members of their family as astronomy phenomena. For example, his father was named after the Orion, constellation, and he and his brother were named after stars. Even her cousin, Andromeda, was named after a whole galaxy.

"I'm afraid we do not have a name selected yet, we hoped it was a boy" responded Walburga, looking at her newborn child.

"May I suggest some names?" asked Regulus shyly. He had some name ideas in mind and was hoping to have the honor to name his little sister.

"I guess so" responded Orion.

"I wanted to be able to suggest two possible names, which both have astronomical backgrounds. There is Adhara, a star located light years from our solar system, and there is Venus, the second planet of the solar system and the closest planet to earth."

"Although mediocre" said Orion, looking to Walburga, " I suppose something is better than nothing. Venus Adhara Black?" he asked

"I agree, something is better than nothing, and I would approve" she said

The boys looked at each other with happiness and concern. And they both knew what that meant.
