Said you'd die for me

Told me your lies

And spoke your empty words without fail and fault

Made me see that maybe this wasn't the person that I was meant to be

That maybe I was meant to be something much more

But that is something I still do not know of

You said you'd never leave but just like that you did
And now I'm left to wonder on my own
Confused that's what I am

Afraid that's what I am
Afraid to be afraid
And afraid that I might lose myself in the process
And in that process, I'm afraid I might just fall

And when I do I know it'll be just the beginning
