I breakdown and cry,
My brain becomes possessed,
I run away,
I storm myself to my misery.

I am left with a faded portrait,
Of yours,
It talks to me,
It reminds me of our memories,
Before you were gone.

I've lost the most precious of people,
I never thought my eyes will ever witness,
Your coffin carried by the angels of death,
I'll remember you on every breath.

I remember yesterday when I saw you,
You asked for forgiveness, and I didn't know why,
Until I saw them carry you,
To your grave,
It's time for you to rest in peace.

I was always with you,
And I wish my soul would follow you.

You were my backbone,
Stronger than mountains set in stone,
And today, my eyes witnessed you gone,
I am left to fight this world all alone.

I know nothing outside the comfort of your eyes and outside the comfort of your heart,
Your heartbeat sung melodies my heart used to dance on,
You kept me alive, you kept me safe.

And today the angel of death decided to take you,
I miss you....i miss you,
On every corner of every street,
The restaurants we used to go to call out your name,
Our music that we used to dance on,
Now breaks my heart to pieces.

I wish, it was me not you,
The bed we used to sleep on,
The sofa you liked,
The programs you watched with me,
All call out your name.
