I was glad when Genevieve said I could go to the library, but I was aggravated when she said Phoebe had to take me and STAY with me. I glanced across the library to see Phoebe. Everyone at my table picked a random book to look like we were working.
"I have an idea," Atticus spoke, pulling his laptop out. He opened it up and began to type away fast. "Okay, what is your eldest sister's number."
I raised a brow. "...Why?"
"Oh! Trust him, he's great at this!" Axel spoke loudly, so Ellie slapped him on the head. I gave Atticus her number and waited. I glanced over but had no idea what he was doing. The screen had so many tabs coming and going.
"There." He closed his laptop and put it away before going back to the book I was sure he was actually reading. I raised a brow.
"Um, so what did you-"
"Hey, brat." Phoebe walked over and yanked me up by my hoodie, startling me.
"Do you always have to manhandle me!" I snapped. She rolled her eyes and let me go.
"The De Luca Queen has summoned my help with grabbing her a pregnancy craving. But she wants it from some stupid store an hour away. Like she's married, so she could have asked him!" She sighed. "So, I'll be back in like I guess a little over two hours." She flicked my forehead and left.
"What did you do?" I gasped, rubbing my forehead as I looked at Atticus.
"I hacked your sister's phone. So, it texted Phoebe." Atticus stated, putting his phone away. "Anyways, Axel and I need to get home. Our mom is mad since we didn't inform her we had ISS." Atticus grabbed Axel who screamed quietly since we were in a library. He waved his arms like noodles, pleading with us to save him. I chuckled and looked at Ellie.
"So, it's us I guess." I grabbed my bag.
"Um, well..."
I looked at Ellie. "No! Please don't make me go with him alone! He'll kill me!" I pleaded.
"Didn't I say show up wearing a pair!" I froze till I turned around and saw him. Gavin smirked as he walked over alone. I gripped a hold of my bag strap.
"If anything happens, well, don't say Atticus didn't warn you." Ellie gave me a side hug and quickly left. Her leaving like that only made me scared more. And then saying what she said!
"Nice pep talk!" I snapped, as she got out the door.
"Listen, Leo." Gavin walked over and grabbed my shirt. "Are you in 100%, or are you one foot in, one foot out, cuz I'm not-"
"I'm in." I shoved his hand off. "I have two hours to be back." I gritted my teeth and put space between us. Gavin smirked and turned to leave.
"Well, let's hurry then." He opened the side door to the library and I ran after to follow. I'm going to regret this. I just know it. I shoved my phone under the library shelf after silencing it. If Atticus could hack my sister's phone like that, I was sure Genevieve was tracking my phone. "Come on!" Gavin snapped.
"Coming!" I dashed on and prepared for this to be an ambush. I mean, why wouldn't he take this as a chance to kill me? I was the stupid one here trusting him. Correction, I don't trust him. Not one bit.

I stood in the woods that was actually only 30 minutes from the library. A park was near it, so the sound of kids could be heard screaming and laughing. Gavin put his bag down and dug in it.
