The One Who Carries Mother's Will

Chapter 1: Meeting Ai Hoshino

The sun casts a warm glow over Tokyo, bringing life to the bustling city. The crowd of fans disperses through the halls of the building where Ai just had her concert, they're all still beaming with joy and then there's Yuki wandering around having lost my way out, until he stumbles across Ai herself.  She has an amused expression on her face as she smiles and walks up to him.

Ai: Hey~ what do we have here? A stalker? Maybe not, hmm, but aren't you a cutie~♡︎

Yuki: Wait.  Mother?

Ai tilts her head in confusion at Yuki's sudden change in topic.

Ai: Mother?  What about her?

She pauses, sizing him up, trying to figure out what he's getting at.

Ai: Are you from the same town as me? Do you know her?

Her eyes shine with curiosity as she looks at him, her interest piqued.  Yuki approaches closer to Ai and looks at her for a moment.  Ai notices him looking and leans in a bit closer, a playful twinkle in her eye, her voice dropping to a whisper.

Ai: What is it? Something you wanna tell me?

Her presence is intimate and you can feel her warmth radiate against you.  When Yuki remembers Ai, his non-blood-related mother, he is shocked to the core, crying in tears.  Ai watches as tears start forming in his eyes and a look of concern crosses her face.

Ai: Hey, hey, what's wrong?  Did something happen?

She gently places her hand on Yuki's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him.

Yuki: *sobs* My mother...she looked exactly like you. Both singer and performer. Same hair, same eyes, and appearance. She...was killed when I was a kid...

Ai's eyes widen in shock as Yuki explains the tragic passing of his mother, sounding both shocked and saddened.  Her voice trails off as she seems lost in thought for a moment.  She pulls Yuki into a hug, resting her head against his shoulder, and giving a gentle pat on his back.

Ai: It's okay, you can cry as much as you need to.

Yuki: Mother...
