The Cornelia Street Affair

   At age seventeen I made the biggest mistake of me life. When I was Betty dancing with James, so left the party. That's  when I met Augustine. She told me to get in her car. I spent the whole summer with her. I felt I guilty, but at that time Augustine was what I thought I needed. Betty left me. And so did Augustine.

I was in love with James at the time of the dance that changed everything for me. I knew he didn't like dances but I thought made just this once he would dance with me. When he went to drinks for us, Jack asked me to dance and I said yes because I knew that James wouldn't want to dance. Should I have dance with James? Maybe not... but it I hadn't you would be hearing this story.

I worked with James at the Coffee shop on Cornelia street. I just wanted a friend. James and I bonded over Coffee and our love for the beach and stake boarding. But the night of the dance something changed. I fell in love with him and idea of loving him. He didn't love me. He loved Betty.

Betty was my neighbours. We had been friends forever. I swear I was like her brother and nothing else. Did I love her? Yes but I was never in love with her. She was sad at the dance because James said he hated dance. And so I asked her to dance with me. And then he cheated on her.

You could says I was Cornelia streets biggest gossip girl. But in this case I sort friends with Betty and neighbours with Augustine. Of course I told them both that James was cheating. They needed to know because they both loved him deeply.

When Inez told me James cheated on with August I didn't believe her. Because Betty and James were so in love you with each other. I guess Betty was in love with him and he was just pretending. Not only did he hurt Betty but he hurt my best friend and she wasn't even his to lose.

I have always hated James because no one is good enough for my sister. But James did affected everyone in town Cornelia is small town in London. And I couldn't believe that James used my sister to cheated on Betty. Betty was the love of his life. And while I may never know the whole story. I am so happy with everything worked out.
