Summery:
Charlie is sick of everyone saying he looks too nerdy for babe so he decides to enlist sonic and north's help

CHARLIE POV
Charlie had been planning this for about 2 weeks, him north and sonic were just waiting for the perfect Opportunity to put his plan into motion
And what better opertunity then a night out after another X hunter victory
"Charlie are you ready" babe yells from down stairs bringing Charlie out of his thoughts
"Not yet p' you go ahead I'll meet you there" Charlie yells back while looking in the mirror in front of him
"Papa I'm not going without you" babe yells again confusion lacing his voice
"it's fine mama you go meet the others and find us a table I'll meet you there in about half an hour" Charlie screams, he can hear babe grunt in agreement before he hears the door close.
Charlie rushes into the bathroom and picks up the small container with L and R engraved into it, he pick out the small clear contact and easily puts it in, blinking a few times to ease the sting
After both contacts are in and he has styled his hair away from his face he gos back to the closet in his and babes bedroom and grabs the small boxes hidden at the top away from view.
He quickly puts his new out fit on, the tight fitted white v neck, black skinny jeans, red leather jacket and black boots that sonic and North had picked for him before he leaves to meet the others
It takes him about 10 minutes to arrive at the bar and as soon as he steps out the car everyone stood outside the bar is staring at him or whispering about him. He locks his car and heads inside.
BABES POV
"So how long until Charlie gets here" jeff asks looking at babe who has been refusing to drink until his papa is with him
" he should be here soon I think, he told me to leave without him but he wouldn't tell me why" babe says taking another sip of his coke
North and sonic start to giggle making babe suspicious but before he can ask anything he is distracted by a loud wolf wistle coming from someone near the bar, everyone is silent for a moment making babe and the others (apart from sonic and North who could probably guess what is happening) confused.
The crowd parts and everything started to make sense
Charlie...he looked...well babe had no words to describe how good Charlie looked, Charlie smirked before making his way over to babe.
"Hey sorry I'm late" Charlie said as he scooted over into babes side of the booth
" wow Char you look amazing" jeff said taking in his appearance
Babe still couldn't speak...his head was empty
" I knew that would suit you" North exclaimed snapping babe out of his lustful haze
" you did this to my boyfriend" babe growled
" um duh you really think Charlie could do this himself" North replies pointing to Charlie
" HAY" Charlie cut in looking offended
" sorry Charlie but North is right you live your days in plaid shirts and black trousers" sonic shrugs
" okay okay it doesn't matter who did this I just want to know why?" Babe asks not taking his eyes off Charlie for a minute
" um...well...its nothing I just wanted a change " Charlie said trying to avoid eye contact with babe
" Charlie you know your a terrible lier right so just tell us the truth" Alan cuts in before babe could say anything
" Well I've seen somethings online about how others think babe is just with me because I must be good in bed since I'm nerdy and ugly" Charlie says in a small voice
Alan looks around the table before setting his eyes on babe,
" you know what guys let's give Charlie and babe a minute" Alan says after a few seconds, the rest nod and make their way out of the booth and onto the dancefloor
" Charlie you know you shouldn't listen to them, your perfect as you are, I fell in love with you for you, you don't need to change anything about yourself for anyone especially me, the people on the Internet don't know us, they only know what we show them and that's us racing, they know nothing about us" babe says softly grabbing Charlie's hand in his
" Charlie I don't care how you look or what you wear because to me you are the most handsome, amazing and beautiful person I have ever met, next time you feel this way you need to tell me okay?" Babe continues, Charlie sighs and gives a quick nod, babe squeezes his hand softly and gives him a peck on the cheek
" now how about we go home and I show you just how handsome I think you are papa" babe smirks, Charlie rolls his eyes and starts to get up
Babe starts dragging him out of the pub but Charlie stops in place
" what's wrong Charlie" babe asks worried
" nothing it's just I love you so much you know that right" Charlie states looking into babes eyes
" I know and I love you too, no matter how nerdy you may be" babe smirks, Charlie let's out a giggle before being pulled away again
ALAN POV
the rest of the crew make make their way back over to their table hoping Charlie and babe are done with their talk. Only to realise that they were gone when they reached the table
"Wonder where they've gone" jeff asks sarcasticly as he sits next to Alan who wraps his arm around Jeff's shoulder
" I think we all know" sonic rolls his eyes
" don't think we will be seeing them for at least 2 days" Alan laughs
The rest of the X hunters join in knowing exactly where babe and charlie have gone and agree with Alan when he said they won't be seeing them for a few days
But who can blame babe when Charlie looked that good
