When asked how they met for the first time, mark claims that he doesn't remember anything. He blames it on his 'terrible' memory.
"Unfortunately I got into a car accident when I was in high school. I lost most of my memories.."
'It's better if you don't remember' Donghyuck thinks as he watches his boyfriend attempt to tell his new neighbors another made up version of their love story.
"Though I do recall Donghyuckie having the prettiest hair, that's what caught my attention. His hair was pink, bubble gum pink! oh and he always wore the brightest colors too. Isn't that right hyuckie?"
They stare into each other's eyes for a second before the younger nods and forces a smile.
"Of course. I loved the color pink"
He hates the color pink more than anything.
"I bet your pink hair complimented your skin tone so well~!" The woman smiles and coos at the young couple.
"What happened? Why did you stop wearing the color pink?" Her husband asks while looking at him curiously. The boy looked like he was going through an emo phase. He wore all black. He had black hair, black nails and the heaviest black eyeliner on his eyelids.
'Because I didn't need to pretend to be him anymore.'
'I got rid of him.'
"Oh I got bored and decided to experiment with other colors. Black is my favorite color now. Even if people say it's boring.."
Mark takes his hand and gives it a slight squeeze.
He knows his boyfriend suffers from depression and other problems too. But no matter what, he will always be his sunshine.
"We love each other so much. we've been together for years now. I'm ready to start a family with him"
Donghyuck's heart pounds against his chest as he hears those sweet words come out of his boyfriend's mouth. Finally. It's about time. After all he's done for this man.. he deserves to be rewarded somehow right?
"That's so sweet. Our son had a childhood best friend, they were so close we thought those two would end up together but unfortunately he passed away.." the woman quickly wipes away the tears forming in her eyes. Just thinking about her son makes her so emotional.
"How unfortunate.. what was his name?"
