Okay I have to admit, riding in a Dodge Challenger ( silver and black to be specific) was pretty cool. And Matthew was a safe driver, so that was a relief. However, his music choice was a bit much for me. I really didn't want to listen to Drake and how he was running through the six with his woes, or Kanye rapping about how he's Yeezus or whatever he is. But boy, did Matthew want to. Me, I prefer anything, but I'm most comfortable with pop, country, and classic rock. So when we were halfway to Matthew's house, ( it only took 20 minutes from AHS to drive to the Thompson household ) , I reached over and flipped the station to 93.7. Tove Lo's voice filled the car as she sang "Now if we're talking body, you've got a perfect one so put it on me..." as Matthew stared horrified at what I had just done. I had my hands crossed over my chest and was looking out my window when he flipped it back to his station. Now Yo Gotti's voice rose as Matt turned up the volume. You are so childish, I mentally scolded at Matt. I connected my bluetooth to the one inside his beautiful car, and Trap Queen filled the air. "I'm like hey whassup hello..." I locked my phone back and relaxed into the seat, feeling satisfied with myself. I glanced at Matt out of the corners of my eye and saw his astounded facial expression. "Okay, you win this time, but only because I like this song." He chuckled. Next time? There's gonna be a next time? The hopeful half of my heart swells with anticipation. The rest of the ride to Matthew's house consists of an off-key duet between him and I as we sing the rest of Trap Queen, Hold On We're Going Home, and Love Me Like You Do. Nice twist radio, I smirked. It was a baby-step into the new modern pop era, but the overall ride made me smile to myself. I am riding in Matthew Thompson's Dodge Challenger on the way to Matthew Thompson's house. Woah, talk about parallel universe. I suddenly felt giddy. As we pulled into a curved driveway I could do nothing else but stare and gap. The Thompson house was not located in the city, but it wasn't a long drive from the city either per say. It was in the countrier part of Aarondale County, and the yard was lined with humongous pine trees. There was also a water fountain out front surrounded by beautiful yellow and orange flowers. The house itself was obviously two stories, brick, and was every little girl's dream house. It was gorgeous! "Welcome to casa de la Thompson!" Matthew announced and he pulls his car around to the back garage. When we park I open my door, gather my supplies, and hop out of the car. I follow Matthew inside, noting that the inside of the house was just as stunning as the outside. Matthew grabs us both a Coke as he leads me into the dining room to the right of the marvelous kitchen. This house is every bit fancy! Matthew hands me my Coke as I mumble a "thanks" and sit down in a plush, comfy chair. 'Share a Coke with your Lover!' is the first thing that I noticed my Coke says. I silently roll my eyes inside my head. Stacy's sure gonna get a kick out of that! I silently giggle. Matthew's Coke says, 'Share a Coke with Matthew!' Typical, I say, and this time I really do roll my eyes. "What?" Matthew looks at me just as his mother walks into the dining room. She looks stunned to see me sitting there, beside Matthew, books open, and Coke half way in midair. "Hello, I'm Matthew's mother, Leah. It's so nice to meet you! Your name is...." "Paisley. Paisley Sampson." I correct, a little taken aback by her friendlyness. "Paisley! Such a beautiful name! I heard from Matthew that you were to be his tutor. Good luck!" She wishes me as she makes an exasperated face at Matthew before leaving us alone. I was kind of disappointed. I mean, I knew that I wouldn't recieve a "Oh Matthew's told me so much about you!" remark, but a part of me hoped that I would. Oh well, I thought. We came here for Geometry, not wedding planning. "So my mom likes you." Matthew states as I flip to a new page in my notebook. It looks like today we would be focusing on.....I felt eyes staring at me. I look up and met Matthew's piercing hazel eyes and his calm face. I feel like the whole world has stopped moving. "Yep, it appears so." I fumble for a reply, trying to act like his intense eyes were not bothering me at all. "I'm glad she does like the first girl I've ever brought home." He calmly replies as he opens his own notebook, but not before continuing to stare at me a little longer. Wait, what? I'm the only girl he's ever brought home? Matthew's right arm brushes against mine as he begins writing his name and the date on the top of his page. I suddenly feel chills. Matthew is so close to me that it makes it hard to breathe. "So Teach, where do we begin?" Matthew breaks the ice with a smile. "I think we need to start by focusing on your weaknesses." I state educationally. Matthew looks my way once again, tackeling me with that stare. "That should be easy," he replies softly, never breaking his gaze.

Hook, line, and sinker! Paisley has whole-heartedly fell for it, for me. She's as red as a cherry. She keeps avoiding my eyes, however, and this is an issue. "I think we need to start by focusing on your weaknesses." Paisley informs me. I softly look up at her. "That should be easy," I say. I think she gets my message because I see her blush once again. She's kind of cute when she blushes, I admit to myself. She pushes a piece of her dark blonde hair behind her ear as she scoots her chair closer to the table. The fun has officially begun, I annouce to myself inside my head with a smug chuckle.
