Synopsis: Tsukasa and Sakuya notice Keiichiro is definitely not acting like himself one day. They ask what's wrong and then get thrown into trying to make things better without getting involved in the actual problem

------------

There was very clearly something wrong with Keiichiro. It took barely a minute for Tsukasa and Sakuya to pick up on the fact the moment he entered the room. He seemed... quiet. Didn't seem to be all quite there in the present.

That wasn't a normal thing to see, so obviously the two of them were quite concerned. Something was up. Now, what was it and would Keiichiro even tell them if they asked? He wasn't exactly the most likely one to talk about his problems. They might have their work cut out for them, but they could always hope that maybe he would just talk to them.

Sakuya and Tsukasa didn't say anything right away. They greeted Keiichiro as normal and went back to what it was they had been doing before he arrived. The fact he was the last to arrive for work was also quite concerning. Normally he was the first one here.

As time ticked on by, it became obvious that Keiichiro was intending to just let whatever emotions he was feeling fester under the surface. He had busied himself with paperwork and had not spoken a word since the greetings this morning. Though, he did keep anxiously glancing at his phone. Another anomaly in his daily routine.

They waited until it was just the three of them in the room to finally ask Keiichiro about what was going on. Tsukasa was the one to lead the conversation.

"Keiichiro? Are you alright? You aren't your normal self." She didn't bother trying to dodge around her concern. It was better to just be straightforward.

"Yeah. Is something wrong, senpai?" Sakuya added on to let it be known he too was worried.

Keiichiro stopped what he was doing and sat in silence for a while. Sakuya and Tsukasa glanced at each other. What did this mean? Was he thinking about what to say? Was he trying to figure out how to dodge their question? Had they just caught him too off guard and he didn't know what to do? There were too many options.

"My parents decided to come visit without warning..." Keiichiro finally spoke, his voice more quiet than either had ever heard before.

That was all the information they needed to understand what was going on. Both of them were well aware that Keiichiro was trans and that no one seemed to understand him. They had heard him talk about how awful his parents have been since the start. They could understand why he was acting so shutdown like this now.

"Is there anything we could do to help?" Sakuya asked.

"You getting involved will just make things worse." Keiichiro rejected the offer. "I... don't want to put you guys into harm as well."

"But-"

"I'm fine. I've survived this long... I'll live."

Tsukasa sighed. "Fine. Just please come to us if you need help. You know we'll do what we can."

"I know. This is just... something I have to do alone." Keiichiro replied.

"Senpai? Why do your parents know your address if they don't support you?" Sakuya asked, a bit wary. He knew that question might be pushing it with what Keiichiro was willing to disclose.

"I don't know how they found my address, but they did. I tried to get away..."

"That really sucks. I don't get why they can't get the hint that you're happy and they can't make you change."

...

Later in the day, Sakuya and Tsukasa had a stop to make. Keiichiro had to, unfortunately, go and hang out with his parents. They weren't letting him avoid them as hard as he was trying to.
