Fortunately, Joe's suit came out of the washing machine because he procrastinated even though Arel told him not to procrastinate and it needed a whole two hours to dry. Arel told Joe that the trial was in three and a half hours because Joe was really stressed. After a whole boring two hours, the suit is dry and Joe races to the courthouse. He made it just in time and the trial began.

"Will the prosecutor please stand and state their name?" ordered the judge.

"Prosecutor Joe Crain, your Honor," said Joe, feeling extremely nervous.

"Thank you, Mr. Crain. Now the defense attorney and defendant please."

"Defense attorney Sasha Bukell with defendant Ezekiel Wierksy, your Honor," replied Mrs. Bukell.

"Very well, thank you Mrs. Bukell, Shall we start? Mr. Crain, five minutes."

"Thank you, your Honor. Jury, we've all heard the term that statistically, your partner is

most likely to murder you-."

"Objection! Irrelevance."

"Sustained, Mr. Crain, get to the point."

"Of course, You would not expect your own blood-related sibling to be the cause of your

death. As I point to this man, he killed his own brother and made it look like suicide. What a disbelief. A cold-hearted person, a horrible son and sibling, a killer. That's why I believe you should put this man away.

"Thank you, Mr. Crain, does the defense have a rebuttal?"

"Yes, your Honor. Jury, this is the victim's own brother, he wouldn't want to hurt his own brother. Their bond was really strong, there was absolutely no reason to hurt his own brother. Why would anyone want to hurt their own sibling? Look at this man, he is the brother of Thomas Wierksy, a famous actor, who even helped Ezekiel get a starting career as a backup actor. Now, look at Mr. Crain, in grief that his best friend from college died, and he is pinning it on an innocent man who happens to be my defendant. Thank you."

"Thank you Mrs. Bukell, Mr. Crain, I believe you have some charges to bring up?"

"I do your Honor, some people may know that my private investigation firm was investigating the murder. With my firm who is run by Investigator Luis Jenkins, so far, I have racked up: one count of second-degree murder if charged guilty, one count of firing a firearm in a moving vehicle, one count of public endangerment, one count of attempted fleeing of the country while fleeing the police, one count of disturbing the public peace, two counts of trespassing, and two counts of attempted murder."

"Very well, thank you."

Mrs. Bukkel looked at Zeke in disbelief and shock.

"Does the defense have any argument for a finding of not guilty?"

"I do your Honor, first of all, where does the public endangerment come into play? Where does the public peace charge come in? Where does the moving vehicle charge come in too? Like, are we just making up charges now to make the sentence longer?"

"Objection!" said a voice in the audience.

"WHO SAID THAT?!" ordered the judge.

"Your Honor, my name is Arel Crain, sibling to Mr. Joe Crain, I would like to tell the defense attorney that her client had shot at me and Mr. Karl Semlacher were shot at in the office of investigator Luis Jenkins on Saturday, February 25, 2018, by Mr. Ezekiel Wierksy while he was in a black SUV that had no plates."

"I see, thank Mr. Crain. I shall turn to the jury. Do you have a verdict?"

"Your Honor we do. For the eight counts for Mr. Ezekiel Wierksy, we find the defendant..."

"What happened? What are we frozen in time? Uh.... Why did the writer make this so dramatic?" asked Arel.

"Be quiet! You already had enough dialogue as it is. YOU DON'T NEED MORE." said Karl.

"Jeez. Don't gotta yell. Just a question."

"That was a clear fourth wall break and you know it. Just- just be quiet. Oh look, she's about to say it!"

"Oh okay."

"Guilty," said the jury representative.

Joe sighed in relief, Zeke's parents hugged him one last time, Arel, Karl, and Jenkins were glad for Joe, and the judge sentenced him to life in prison.
