"So do you guys have any ideas for what to do this summer?" I asked taking a sip from my drink.

"Maybe we can go camping!" Emma practically screamed.

"Oh yeah let's go camping all by ourselves at night in the woods where there's bears and we could not bathe for a whole week, you know?"

"Haha Isabella very funny, we could go to my cousins beach house in Florida."

"That's actually not a bad idea Emma." She flashes a smile at me with her rosy cheeks, knowing that's her way of saying thank you.

"Except we'd be over 1000 miles away and my parents would never let me go." If only my parents just trusted me a little more.

"Gemma, couldn't your parents just let you go for a few days?" Before I could answer Isabella's phone started ringing.

"Hold on guys my dad is calling me."

     Since I was sitting right next her to I heard few words in their conversation. I heard her dad say something about what we could do for the summer which was probably something super boring. She put her dad on speaker and asked what he had in mind.

"You know how my boss was going to go LA for the summer for a family vacation?"

"Yeah."

"He can't go because his daughter got engaged and their wedding is this summer."

"Okay."

"He wanted to get rid of them so he gave them to me..."

"And what are we supposed to do with them? Sell them?"

"I'm not done! I have three plane tickets to LA and we would go as a family but your mom and I are going to work all summer. So... I thought maybe you and your friends would take them?"

"Wait are you serious?! Oh my god!" Isabella stood up from her chair and her face looked like she just won the lottery.

"Yes."

     At this point we were all standing up looking at each other with excitement written all over our faces.

"Your flight leaves this week."

"Wait, wait, wait, your telling me that you have three plane tickets and you want us to take them?"

"Yeah your moms fine with it I already talked to her. Look Bells, do you want them or not because I got  to get back to work."

"Yes I want them!"

"Okay I'll hold on to them for now but I'll see you at home."

     He hung up and we all just stayed quiet for a little. I couldn't believe it, this is my chance to see what the real world awaits for me and not to mention in one of the most famous cities! We were all squealing and then one of the Starbucks employees told us to quiet down. We were all so excited we couldn't handle it!

      We got up and started walking. I really hope my parents let me go, I mean I highly doubt it though. I remember when I went on my first date my parents told me I wasn't allowed leave the city and I needed to call them every hour. So I guess you could call them over-protected.

     The girls and I all talked over on our way home. We all thought that LA would be a good experience for us, of course, it was probably just the thought of going to LA that got to us. But I mean who cares? We're almost 18 we should be able to do things like this, like honestly the most exciting thing we've ever done together is go to a beach party by ourselves... once. Which is pretty lame for teenagers. I think we deserve to get a taste of what the real world is like just so we know what to expect when we go to college.

     Hey guys! This is my first ever fanfic and I'm super excited to write it! So please follow me through this story of adventure, love, and drama. Am i the only one who thought that sounded cheesy? >.< I'll be uploading at least twice a week if not more. For sure I'll be uploading every Thursday and Tuesday. Because you know we got the club going up on a Tuesday *wink wink* sorry I had to.
