Close Friend?

They all sat in the living room, asking Yoongi about his journey in the U.S. Hoseok was here in Korea, but he was busy with his own work and couldn't spare time to meet Jungkook or his family. However, when he learned that Yoongi was coming from the U.S., he decided to surprise Jungkook and finally spend some time with his friends and enjoy with them after a long time.

So, here he was, listening to Yoongi's journey to the U.S. with everyone.

But why was Yoongi in the U.S.?

After completing his studies, he moved to the U.S. to gain more knowledge about his business work. He was planning to open his own company related to technology since he was good with computers and all, but he was not sure about the specific field. 

So, to find out which field in technology he was great at and later decide to pursue it and open a company related to it, he moved to the U.S. to study more about his interested field and learn business tactics. He bid goodbye to his friends and Jungkook's family. 

Hoseok's parents are mostly busy traveling here and there regarding their business, which is also one of the reasons Hoseok is very close to Jungkook's family, being far away from his own family.

So here was Yoongi, telling everyone about his journey. He shared how he first settled there, made some friends, gained knowledge, studied more about his interested field, and learned business tactics. 

He also met a person  there who helped him immensely on his journey, guiding and encouraging him towards his goals. This person, who was once a total stranger, is now one of his closest friend. 

Yoongi is very grateful to him as he helped him to strengthen his business knowledge, even though he was not from the same field, but surprisingly excelled in it. Being from Korea, this friend  helped him to open his company here and look after it until he returned from the U.S. Now, as he talked about him, Yoongi suddenly felt a strong sense of missing him. After sharing his experiences in the U.S. and everything that happened, he finished his storytelling journey.

"Who was he?" Kook asked excitedly after Yoongi stopped talking.

"Who?" Yoongi asked, confused.

"Your close friend who helped you so much!" Kook asked again.

"Oh... you're talking about him. But why do you want to know about him?" Yoongi asked, looking at Kook who nodded, confirming who he was talking about.

"Just tell me, please" Kook whined, wanting to know about that person.

"I will... not tell you" Yoongi teased Kook after seeing his eager face.

"Please" Kook pleaded with a cute pout and puppy eyes.

Jin chuckled, looking at his brother's antics, knowing very well what he was doing. Yoongi sighed and replied...

"Okay... but I will not tell you about him. I will directly introduce him to you after some time. Also, I want to meet him as it's been a long time. First, I will meet him and then introduce him to you, okay?"

"Okay, done" Kook replied with a bunny smile and a thumbs up.

'I will thank him for helping my yoongi hyung '  Kook thought with a soft smile, looking at Yoongi.

After chatting for a long time, they decided to sleep. Mrs. Jeon requested them to stay here as it was really late to go home now. They agreed as they occupied a guest room for themselves, and all others proceeded to their respective rooms to sleep, uttering 'good nights' to each other.

On the other hand, Kim Taehyung was done with his work for the day. He leaned back in his chair and let out a heavy sigh, closing his eyes. Then he sat up straight and twisted his body from left to right, relaxing his stiff muscles with a crack sound. 

Glancing at his phone to check the time, he stood up and gathered his belongings.. some files, his bag, his jacket, and car keys.. before moving towards the door of his cabin. Since his dad had already reached home earlier, now it was just him.

He made his way down with the help of the elevator and proceeded towards his car, opening it and sitting inside. Taking his car out from the parking lot, he headed towards the path of his mansion.

After some time, he reached the mansion, parked the car, and made his way towards the door. He rang the bell, and after a few seconds, the door was opened by Mrs. Kim, who invited him inside while taking his bag and jacket. She handed him a glass of water as he sat on the couch. After drinking it, he walked upstairs to his room, freshened up, wearing a cream t-shirt and brown sweatpants before walking back downstairs.

He reached the dining hall as Mrs. Kim served him dinner alongside Namjoon and Mr. Kim. They finished their meal while chatting about their day and everything else.

After dinner, bidding goodnight to his parents and brother, he walked to his room and got ready to sleep. Just then, he received a call. Glancing at the caller ID, a wide smile spread across his face. He answered the call and placed the phone near his ear.

"Hi, Chim! How are you?" he asked his friend.

He chuckled while listening to his best friend's excited voice on the other end.

"Hi, TaeTae! I'm fine, how are you?" he teased with the nickname.

"Eww, don't call me TaeTae, PARK JIMIN, how many times do I have to tell you this!" Tae said, making a disgusted face, even though he couldn't see it.

"Why?" Jimin asked, already knowing the answer.

"It sounds cringey" Tae replied.

"Okay... okay, I won't say it" Jimin replied.

"Nice" Tae uttered.

"Well, first listen here, we're organizing a party.. we, as in our college friends.. because we're missing each other. It'll be nice to take a break from our work and meet each other to enjoy after a long time. So, I'm inviting you to come the day after tomorrow. I'll send you the time and venue later, okay?" he said.

"Oh... but Chim, I..." Jimin cut him off and said.

"No, I don't want to hear your 'I am busy, Chim.' Please, Tae, I'm requesting you to come. Aren't you missing us?" he uttered in a sad voice.

"No, it's not like that. I am missing you all... Okay, I will come. Happy now?" he asked.

"Yes, okay then. I will send you the venue and time tomorrow, and I'm giving you one day, so finish your work fast, okay?" he asked in a happy voice.

"Okay" he replied.

Then they talked for some time and said good night to each other before disconnecting the call.

After that, he lay on his bed, switching off the lamps and hugging a pillow, drifting further into Dreamland.
