Chapter 6 - The Revealed Winners

Your POV

To bring you up to speed on what's going on, Mitsuka and I entered an Ave Mujica contest, where the winner gets to see who they are behind the masks. Mitsuka and I managed to play our song to best of our abilities, and I felt like we did fine. However, I can tell that the pressure is getting to Mitsuka.

"Do you think... we did well?" She asked.

"I'm sure we did fine." I replied. "Besides, the way you were playing the guitar earlier... It sounded amazing"

Mitsuka started to blush.

"Thanks, but I think the only reason that I did so well was only because of you."

I started to blush as well.

"Thanks, buddy. It means a lot to me to hear that from you."

Before anything else was said, Mortis came forward to speak to us.

"Hey, you two, we're about to announce the winners." She said. "Please come to the stage with the other contestants."

"We'll be there soon!" I called out as she walked away.

I stood up and offered my hand to my best friend.

"Shall we get going?" I asked.

"Yes, of course." Mitsuka replied as she took my hand.

A few minutes later...

The two of us were now standing on the stage with the other people who entered the contest. Standing in front of us was the Ave Mujica girls. Oblivionis spoke to each one of us.

"After listening to everyone's songs, we must say that we were impressed by how much dedication you were showing." She said.

"However, there was one team that stood out the most." Doloris said.

"And that team is..."

The girls pointed to... us?!

"The team of (Y/N)-san and Mitsuka-san!"

We couldn't believe it... we actually won the contest. What made it better was being able to sing without getting shy. I was quite happy about this, but I can tell that Mitsuka is just as happy as I am.

"We really did it, (Y/N)."

"Yes, yes we did."

Now we get to see who Ave Mujica really is, but...

"Before we do, there's one thing we want you guys to do." Timoris said.

"Oh yeah? What's that?" Mitsuka asks. 

"We want you two to perform one last song in front of everyone." Amoris said. 

They want us to do another song? I guess I can understand why they want to hear me sing again, but I don't think Mitsuka and I have another song in mind. She looked at me, and I looked back at her. 

"What do we do? Can we even think of a song?" Mitsuka asked. 

"I think I got one song in mind." I responded. 

"Is everything okay?" Oblivionis asked. 

"Yes, everything is fine." I replied. "We're ready to perform again.

Everyone nodded as the stage was cleared for us to perform. We nodded, and start playing the song I have planned.
