Amara's POV

"I'm not understanding anything"

I'm full on panicking because of tomorrow's exam. I really don't want to fail and redo my senior year when I could be in college having the time of my fucking life.

Even though I never cared too much for my school work, exams still give me a lot of anxiety.

Mostly because I hate being the one that always gets the lowest grades and have people around me judge me even if they don't verbally do it.

I unfortunately, care a lot about what people think of me either from my looks or personality because that's literally all I have to offer.

I'm fucking stupid in school, I have no hobbies, i don't play any sports. I'll be surprised if any college even takes me honestly.

And I can be very frustrating when someone is helping me study so I'm really appreciative of what Henry is doing for me. I know I can be a little hard to deal with.

"It's okay, we have a lot of time to study" he reassured but I couldn't help but be anxious about it "hey look at me" he demanded and I slowly looked at him, a bit ashamed that he gets to see me be this fucking stupid.

Henry probably wants to date a smart girl that he can talk to about the books he reads or smart people shit.

He won't want someone like me and that kind of scares me because I really like him.

"I'm here to help you. You have nothing to worry about" his eyes are so beautiful. It's driving me insane.

"I'm just worried. I always get f's and d's, I don't want that to keep happening. I want to get better grades" I explained very truthfully.

He smiled a little "that's good. I'm glad you're starting to care more" I laughed and looked down "caring won't do shit" I said playing around with the pencil "caring will motivate you more and will make you study more which results into getting better grades"

I didn't say anything to what he said. I want to have hope in me as much as he does.

"Okay how about we play a game?" He asked and I looked at him

"I'm listening" I said making him smile.

"Every time you finish an equation or any question, you get to ask me a question. Personal, family related, sexual, whatever you want"

I smirked a little "I'll take that"

I started doing the equations as he helped me through it, not giving me the answers just trying to remind me about a few things he said.

"There you go. You got it" Henry said making me smile widely and look at him "really?" He smiled and nodded his head "you did it"

I guess offering me a chance to get to know my crush better, helps me become smarter.

"Okay I get to ask you a question now" he hummed and waited for me to ask it "do you have any tattoos?" I asked him.

I'm starting simple and easy. We'll get to the juicy stuff in a bit.

"Yep. It's on my rib cage" I licked my lips and looked down at her body "can I see it?" I asked hesitantly. She squinted her eyes a little

"please?" I said making her laugh "I guess"

He lifted his shirt up, giving me a good view of his body and his tattoo.

I ran my fingers on it softly "does it say 'Pepa is the best aunt ever'?" I asked his with a little laugh. He nodded his head and looked down at it "my niece wrote it on a paper and my sister sent me a picture of her holding it. It's her hand writing"
