Traveling through memory lane, his reminiscing starts in his roomI always hated being the new kid in a strange school, but I had no choice since my father would always take my little sister and I on his business travels. California wasn't all that bad since I had a nice view of the ocean outside my window, but staring at the vast blue mysterious depths reminded me of a time when I tried to drown myself. It wasn't always cheerful in this little family, after my mother had died my busy father would work hard to provide for us even if that meant only seeing his precious children two times out of the week. I didn't care for his absence, we were rich so there was no point to be down if the man of the house is away. It only meant I can do whatever I wanted in this luxurious beach house. I quietly sat on my bed facing the ocean view with a blade in hand. "Whatever I wanted" I muttered to myself. I always felt worthless in this family, achieving my parents expectations in order to please them to their hearts content. No matter where we moved to, my father would expect me to become a top student in each new school. Regardless of where we moved I would still get lonely, the feeling of not having a companion who will listen to you and help out whenever you were in a pinch or simply conversate randomly in order to make you laugh and forget about all your worries. Yea, I wanted someone there for me but being the older child sucks. Everyone always expects more from you, but as I stared at my scar filled arm I realized once I'm done they wouldnt be able to expect a lot from a deceased corpse.
